    Balance Changes Now Live!

    We are introducing a round of balance changes to several Defenses and Troops in the next couple of days. We have observed at higher Town Hall levels that Mortars and X-Bows have become quite underwhelming as defensive structures in terms of DPS. One of the challenges in balancing the game is to perform these changes in a way that retains a unit’s viability and relevancy without making attacking or defending too easy or difficult. Although we are increasing the DPS to Mortars and X-Bows, we are shifting the DPS from Archer Towers and Cannons with the following changes:

    Cannon
    Level Old DPS New DPS

    16 140 125

    Archer Tower

    However, we are aware of the effects these changes would have on specific farming troops; therefore, we’ve also increased the HP on Barbarians and Goblins to the following:

    Barbarian
    Level Old HP New HP

    8 140 205

    Goblin
    Level Old HP New HP
    4 43 46
    5 52 56
    6 68 76
    7 74 101

    Eagle Artillery bug fix
    We fixed a minor bug with the Eagle Artillery that required ranged troops to be closer to hit it than other buildings. Now they can hit it from the same distance they can other buildings.

    Clan War Leagues
    War League Promotion/Demotion rules have slightly changed. The number of Clans moving up or down specific Leagues will be changed to the following:

    League Old # of Clans New # of Clans
    Champ I to Champ II -2 -3
    Crystal I to Master III +2 +1
    Master III to Master II +2 +1
    Master II to Master I +2 +1
    Master I to Champ III +2 +1
    Champ III to Champ II +2 +1
    Champ II to Champ I +2 +1
    Silver III to Bronze I -2 -1
    Bronze I to Bronze II -2 -1
    Bronze II to Bronze III -2 -1

    Nice changes, and will mortar’s fire rate be faster or the same?

    Reducing the number of clans able to promote?
    Why?
    You want less clans in the higher tiers?
    I'm confused...

    How about the clouds?
    Why such a buff for XBows?
    Can we get an increase in win bonus for raiding in higher leagues?

    Balancing eagle "bug"

    Is it really smart to change such a major thing regarding base building 2 weeks before a big tournament..?

    Anyone agree?

    For those who don't know what I mean. The eagle will be hittable from the same amount of tiles as other defenses. The 2 tile gaps in 90% of the bases will be useless.
