Enlightenment of our barbarians 😢

Hi,
Today while thinking of the game and it's troops, I got a bit emotional(really) while thinking the 1st troop of the game, the face of the SC family, their representative TM, the barbarians. Really SC I feel pity on them now, after th. 8.
I still remember the day when I started playing the game, barbs. were my most favourite troops. But in present scenario, players mostly use them for farming at and that too at very low leagues. I want to ask U all that has it became so useless😢. Till now the barb. is the app's image.
SC plz. don't get offended, but letting it be a weak troop and using it's image for the game, if thought diplomatically, is an implication of the weakness of the CoC society. And, we, ur availers, ur fans can't see this happening mum.
I know it would sound a little wired but, "BARBARIANS NEED TO BE MADE VERY-VERY O.P". And if this is not done the only way is to make electro-dragon or pekka or 'balloon'( the most powerful & over used troops of the game) the face of the game. Which would look quite eerie, as we R now in a habit of opening a barb. faced app😄.
If U ask for my idea, then do something like make barbs something mmmm..., may be "ELITE BARBS" of CLASH ROYALE & Builder Base. I know that at higher levels our current barbs look like the elite ones, so may be U just need to give some super-power/abilities like the Elite barbs.

If Barbarians are buffed to the degree that you are implying, then both housing space and training cost would be propotionally adjusted. So let us say they became a "30 housing space super Barbarian". That then would negate the reason for having Barbarians (as well as Archers) to begin with, to have a cheap, unit size one, fast training troop.

Then you may say, "Then keep the current Barbarians, yet add a Super Barbarian". We already have that, he is the Barbarian King!

What did I just read?

Using basic troops as the image of the game doesnt portray anything? Instead I think it helps players from TH1 to make the connection between the drooling barbarian and their base

Ur point is valid Rowman, but still we can make 2 types of barb, normal one's & elite one's. But just think is there any present use of barbs at higher ths. except for farming at dead bases found in low leagues. The troop has nearly became useless. Plz. don't flush the idea completely as at higher ths. we use nearly all troops like minions even archers. If farming is a hurdle why not use gobs. in place of barbs. they are much better alternative and do more damage on storages & collectors. But barbs. do represent SC, it's a univeral fact.

Let’s not forget though, that the level of your Barbs are the level that will be spawned during your Kings ability. When the Barbarian King drops many max level Barbarians, they will indeed clean a lot of the base that you are working on. Very important and still used in TH12 attacks across the board.

Yeah I agree barbarians should be made better atleast so that they can do the work of Funnelling.

As some have mentioned, the Barbarians are a cheap and low housing troop, so it is balanced when it comes to their stats. They still have purpose at higher Town Hall levels, especially considering they can give the Barbarian King a little more punch if you use his special.
