Imagine you are facing a clan "100 times better" than yours

You are facing a clan in Champion League who has won 50 of the past 50 wars they've been involved. Your clan has just reached the Masters 2 level. What do you do?

    1) Fight back with moderate effort knowing that there's no chance to win.
    2) Perform multiple scouting attacks on their best bases in an effort to reveal their traps and copy their bases. Winning is not important.
    3) Attack thinking that you could win and then have all your hopes and dreams squashed when they 3 star all your bases.
    4) Don't attack at all in some sort of effort to deliver a message that the matchmaking system isn't giving you the match-up that you deserve.
    5) Report all the names of their team as offensive in an attempt to get them all disqualified for the war. (THIS IS A JOKE).

    Any other options?

    Thanks.

A champ league clan would never match a master league clan outside of regular wars and league rank is irrelevant in regular wars.

Sorry, but I don’t understand the defeatist outlook. Do they have 10 more TH12s than you or something?

Never going to happen but if it did:

    6) Attack their bases to the best of your ability and after war is over, analyze every attack they did on you to learn new offensive skills, tweak your base now that you can see weaknesses you may be unaware of, copy their bases manually, friendly challenge your tweaked bases and their copied bases to make your bases better and hone offensive skills. lather, rinse, repeat.

Ok... well... it's happening now. A champ League clan is facing us... we are a master league clan.

We've had match-ups like this before. What we do is simply go to a free-for-all style of attacks. Members are free to attack which base they want, so long as they don't drop too low.
We also encourage members to use this war to practice their normal attack strat, experiment with/tweak their normal attack strat and give it a go, or use a totally different attack strat that they've not used before but wanted to try.
It usually keeps morale up, plus we get to see new strats from the opposing clan. We also get a very clear view of how easy/hard our bases are to conquer.
Use it as a learning experience to get better at attacking, learning new strats via the opponents attacks, and possibly tweaking your war bases some.
    Good luck.

Why do you keep bringing this up? Your CWL rank is irrelevant to regular wars. Weighted matchmaking is used for regular wars with absolutely no regard for your CWL rank. So what is the point you're trying to make with this post?

Clearly you're matched with that clan because you've equal war weight as them. And given that you both are equal in defenses, if your clan is not as skilled as them, you should have thought about it before bringing all high TH levels with no good attacking skills. Even in our clan there are high THs who are not that rushed but they don't have good attacking skills, we take them in war, opponent gets 3 on them, our players can't get mush as expected, but then it's lack of skills of our clan so we can't complain. Yes, there are clans with elite players who have very high skills of attacking. If your luck is bad, you might get matched against them, then all you can do is give your best, and the least you can do is look at their attack and learn how they plan the attack, that's how you get better at attacking. Watch, Learn and Practice!

Edit: taking CWL league as comparision for regular war doesn't make any sense. Don't mix them up.
