Valentine’s Day derby

I see we get a regular derby tomorrow.
I was expecting the Valentine’s Day derby.
Too bad Supercellcoz next week it’s too late

I was expecting a special Derby for Valentine’s Day also. I opted in for the Lunar New Year Derby just because of the special prizes in the last threshold. I guess the good news is that I can relax and opt out (as usual) this week.

Where did you find the info saying it would be a regular Derby? I’ve been checking the notice board and the Hay Day FB page, but nothing has been posted in either place.

When you go to the derby board and hit the big “?” in the left corner and press page 7 you see the upcoming derby
Why do you opt out in the regular derby? Horse shoe prices are handy too

As to regularly opting out, I like my farm because it doesn’t place regular pressure on me, and there’s no element of competition. I farmed for a year before the Derby was introduced, and the occasional frenzy of a special event was perfect. Mostly, I just like farming at my own pace. 18 tasks last week was torture, and the recalibrated task points have made it even worse.
