How exactly does this picture follow the ratio spiral? Looks like you just put the spiral over the picture and it doesn't correlate to anything.. especially because it's not even covering the whole picture. Not trying to be negative.. I just don't see it and I'm not sure it's actually there.

If you look at it without trying, your eyes will first go to the bk with the golden piggy. That's because it is at the centre of the spiral. Then your eyes will go to the rest of the characters in the mid spiral. The areas outside the spiral are close and darker than the inside ones. The area in innermost spiral is the farthest. Another easier way to see it is trying to notice the depth of the scene in 3D space.

There is also the rule of thirds used in that image as well. Idea is to imagine drawing 2 lines to divide the image into 3 parts both horizontally and vertically. Where the lines intersects are the natural focus points. Main objects should be present at any of the point and sub objects should be there along the near lines.

Call me stupid but the first thing I noticed (looked at) when first looking at the loading screen was the explosion in the middle and then the goblin holding the rope at the bottom right.

    Gotta love your nickname though
