I'd say unlikely, but not impossible. You would need to be very good with the combo and your target selection would need to be even more precise. And of course you would have to actually make it up there first, which would take some work in and of itself for a TH 9.Originally Posted by darklord1221

I'm a near max Th9 who has been farming DE from 2600-2800 for the past 3 weeks with balloonions and I must say the loot is incredible. I don't focus on gold, but if I did id be rich. I do farm in long sessions as I tend to get one started when I log off, but I wouldn't go anywhere else for de and it looks like a dream zone for th10s.Sounds like if you're not able to be active enough then 3k is tough to maintain. Funny to hear you talk about farming "down here" at 2,700.
Exactly, I'm finding that I'm needing 2 spells for most bases in order to get a good chunk of loot. I haven't seen an inactive in over a week (no joke).
To be honest I'm not sure what I'm going to do after the boosts stop. I've been TH10 for a couple of weeks, currently have both ITs upgrading to level 2, but agree that I can generally log off between battles without being raided. If I am it's normally an instant revenge. I'm actually winning more than 50% of my battles at the moment so that's helping to maintain the trophies.
If things get tough then i'll drop to Crystal II or III and work on defences for a bit. You need a lot of gold at TH10.
Obviously I'll rise for Forum Elite and then might see about staying higher again.
I'm so torn... I'm a fully maxed defenses including troops TH9 (working on walls and heroes) and have been unsure what to do since boosts ended. I was debating trying balloonions to farm and go higher in trophies but I have never farmed above 2200 consistently before and have never tried farming with balloonions. I feel like I'm missing out because so many people use it for farming and pushing.

Start TH10 upgrade and then go to 2,300 and try using balloons/minions to farm some DE. If you don't like it drop right down to 1,400 and farm gold for walls. If you get bored with that then you have TH10 ready. If you like either then cancel the TH upgrade and stay there.
Personally I'd just come up if defences are maxed.

I'd say 1400 is a bit too low for gold farming. It has been dry there as of late.

For those of you keen to see Video's Edward from Quantum's Web has just started a YouTube channel and whilst he is cup hunting rather than farming, there is a lot of crossovers (Strategic deployment, Spell usage, Bloon trick blowing up Archers etc).
