So everyone doesn't get a maxed th 10 base in 6 months. 6 months may seem long but a lot of people have played over a year and still aren't maxed th 9.

To keep the players occupied I suppose. Once you are fully upgraded you really don't have anything to do besides push trophies. In a high trophy range you are probably reaching for the gems if you reach top 10, or the loot bonus, but if you're maxed what are you going to spend the loot and gems on?

If u maxed out ur base in 3 weeks would u still keep playing?Would u buy gems all the time?Both very good reasons why it takes so long...and also the whole appeal of this game is striving for something its that sense of accomplishment once u have worked so hard for something and finally achieve it
