    I'm about to quit. Even worse: I'm not alone.

    Dear Supercell,


    usually I don't write in forums but I need to make up my mind.


    I loved to play this wonderful game since early this year. But fun has decreased drastically with the recent so-called 'improvement in looting'.
    For your information: I've been playing since January. I'm level 103 now. I've spent about $200.


    Before the update
    - I used to rob about 2-3 million gold / day since I had reached TH 7 and I thus was forced to invest a couple of dollars for construction workers ## 3,4&5 plus some more dollars in order to finish buildings and research a little earlier.
    Well-spent money.
    - I used to find villages providing 200k each quite frequently.
    - It did I not matter to attack villages with only about 125-150k each from time to time.
    - I used to find an appropriate village within 5-10 minutes.
    - I never cared about an active shield because I could easily compensate the losses when being 3-stared.
    - Average loot was about 150k each per raid.
    - It was fun to raid villages for gold and elixir and maxing out everything before upgrading town hall.


    I have progressed to an I dare say quite impressing TH9 by now but it doesn't seem I'd go any further.
    My 5 workers have been mostly busy for a long time because loot never was a problem.
    But it has become now.


    I can cope with a loss of 200k each when I'm being 3-star'd.
    I can cope with the fact that I have to fight more battles to collect my daily 2-3 million gold.
    I can cope with the fact that it takes longer time to gain gold for more expensive upgrades.
    But I CANNOT cope with the fact that the work of 2-3 hours raiding other player's villages and gaining gold is constantly being annihilated as soon as I am offline for 5 minutes.


    Upgrades are also quite expensive when you are midway through TH 9 (it's all 5 millions or above now) but I find myself being unable to collect that amount when on the one hand it takes 90-120 minutes to win 350k but on the other hand it takes only 5 minutes to loose it again.
    Who do you think can afford the time to collect 5 million gold for a lvl 11 archery tower this way?


    Playing clash of clans has become really frustrating lately:
    - Average loot has decreased by 50 %. In fact, it is around 72k per raid now.
    - I loose gold and elixir faster than I can gain or even spend it.
    - I watch 5 workers snoring instead of working.
    - I spend about 25% of my gold for traps/bombs and clicking 'next'.
    - I spend 50% more time finding a target that's not deficient to attack.
    - I've lost 5 times more gold and elixir in one week than in the preceding 3 months together.
    - Activity in clans has decreased. (No, that's not because of Xmas lurking ahead.)
    - I fear the end of my shield because I know I'll loose another 350k gold to a high-end well-armed and well-defending TH10-guy I will not be able to fight back successfully.


    Well, there definitely IS a group of players that really benefits from the recent update: TH10 players who can easily 3star strong TH9 and lower players but do not have to fear revenge because they're much too strong to defeat for me or others not even as strong as me.


    Just in case you read this which I would really appreciate but which I do not expect because you keep appeasing everybody here and insisting that there has been an improvement (which most of us here seem to be unable to realize):


    You are very close to ruining an excellent game and loosing a high number of customers.
    If that's what you aimed for when releasing the new looting system: Congratulations!

    We are same level ( th9, lvl 103) and i LOVE this update. Never seen such easy loot before. in two days i farmed exactly 13.9mil gold. Yes, i play 2-3 hour sessions..but my average per hour increased by 45% to around 1.1 mil gold. Thats awesome and i totally disagree with ppl complaining here. You need to find your trophy range and i did that. Now, i am farming the farmers! Loving it!!!!! Having average loot of around 280k of each resource per raid is significant improvement for th9. WELL DONE SUPERCELL!!!!!!!!

    Our clan (th8,9,10) is really happy with the loot. Don't touch it now SC!
    Nobody is quitting, they are just trolling,... rely on your server stats!

    My prob with that kind of cmments is that I and my clan members are experiencing the opposite, many of other coc friends too.

    I cannot believe it until i see it. please post some attacklogs...

    Or you are raiding the inactive ones that already left the game. A kind of last hyperinflation of ressis, before all breaks down.

    I can feel with you. I am a th10 lev 120 player.

    Yes thx to the overpowered inferno towers you don't get raided anymore, but it means as well that I have now to raid th9.

    and I am hitting approx 100-150 times next before i find a raidable base.

    you are right man, and the low lev players don't feel the pain right now and are flashed by gigantomanic potential loots they never will be able to take.

    loot situation ++

    I am now able to find pretty good loots from mostly TH9s (I am TH 10 lvl 104), but also a lot from TH 10īs. At the end of yesterday i advanced around 4-5 mill gold total excl. what was spend during the day. But i was also online many hours and only got beaten bad one time, where i lost 300 k of each.

    Each player must take into consideration what cup level he/she is at!! For me its better (when i try to upgrade my defenses and heroes) to not stay above 2300-2400 cups, as i seem to get attacked and loose far more above that (by strong TH 9īs or maxed out TH10īs). Today (as I have quite full resource storages), that would mean very severe loses and very hard to progress with upgrades.

    About the NEXT clicking, for me, it seems to be taking longer to find decent loot but not always. Im not sure if its actually any different than before. In a day of playing i do spend a whole lot on clicking NEXT.

    I do find it very frustrating that the healing options is not working against the inferno towers. This is a strange and very annoying new feature.

    Seems over powered to me. Like it were done with Hogs and Witches, SC must balance this better.

    I read someone in here mention an idea of award bonus for successful defense, this sounds logic to me, especially considering how expensive the air mines, bombs and traps have become to rearm.

    My thoughts for now..

    First of all - I am 6 days away from maxed TH9! Just to point out from where I am seeing this.

    And I dont get this point?
    "TH10's can easily 3star strong TH9"?!? With what? They have almost the same troops as TH9's
    And dont you do the same with TH8's? Who has much worse tier troops!

    I agree that defence on TH10's seems much stronger! And fear when I am TH10 to only have TH9's and TH10's to attack

    And about loot.
    I find that the gab between bases is much bigger now.
    Lurking at 16-1800 trophys and find:
    Many bases with less than 75K gold and a few with 200K+ gold. But not much inbetween :eek:
    I guess the real problem is that more people fight over less good loots?!?
    But cant say I struggle more to find and keep loot as is.
