Question on possible rule ‘workaround’ during Clan Wars
Hi, this is my first time posting so please bear with any mistakes.
We’re currently in a regular clan war (10 v 10) with what I’d consider a pretty fair match up normally. They’re a level 1 clan, but we are level 12 so that seemed to be an advantage us. The highest TH either clan has is 11. However, once war day started and we began scouting, something weird happened. EIGHT members of the opposing clan left...and all joined the same new clan. Ok, so we get a freebie, we thought. Only 3 people were left to attack and we’ve had the same loyal clan mates forever. The freebie was not be. All eight members of the opposing clan were apparently invited back and were eligible for war. But they brought with them full siege machines which had apparently been donated by a TH 12 from the clan they temporarily joined (remember, no TH 12 in the original clan) with absolutely maxed troops that could not have been donated by anyone in the original clan (only TH 11s and a level 1 clan, so no donated troop upgrades). We got wiped out and they already have a perfect war. It may not be cheating exactly but isn’t this a violation of the fair play rules? And has anyone else experienced this during a war?
Nope. No violation here. Many clans are members of clan families and regularly jump between clans to donate/receive troops and such. Your clan could do the same. I’d say the majority of clashers have experienced this before whether they are aware of it or not. It is, however, a common practice that violates no rules.
