    Now back to the issue...

    I'm gonna assume that those numbers are roughly correct, but we need to take a step back here. What I'm seeing in this thread is that there are concerns over a one-troop raiding style, minions, being nerfed by the new and improved infernos.

    If that's all the debate is over, then yes, I agree. All minion raids definitely got much harder with the update, and farming with that strategy is much less efficient now. No argument up to there from me.

    But... that's what the game has always done. Some troops get nerfed, others get buffed, and the game balance is always changing. The minion nerf is significant, sure, but just like most balance changes, there are ways to adapt. I realize that the OP doesn't like balloons, but hey, they are a great way to combat the change. They absorb significant damage and do a good job of taking out defenses. Since she doesn't like those, how about drags? Put one in each barracks and in 30 minutes you can have 4 drags and the rest minions. Drags won't really be phased by disco infernos and your minions can be sorta protected. These are just examples, but there are plenty of ways to adapt. Only question is whether those options are liked.[/QUOTE]

    Zach, I have always respected you and I agree, you have changed. We are talking about WAY OP witches, hogs and in the beginning golems. For God sake, why dont SC correct their mistakes and nerf them in order to atleast TRY to get somekind of balance back in the game? Have you seen my beloved minions get ONE boost since they were introduced? And instead of a second, third, fourth... i lost counting...Nerf. They kill of troops like minions. Isnt this game all about diversity? I bet I tried ALL combos in this game and probably longer than most players still here. Lets see... Why arent you talking about any other troops than balloons, Zach? Why didnt you use all the combos you previous used, barbs/archers/minions, barbs/archers/giants etc etc etc. I can tell u because I have tried. Minions dies like flies, archers, barbs, giants, gobs etc. Soooooooo if you dont happen to like balloons, which I dont, what do u suggest? Drags as farming army? Im not talking about farming th lower than th10.

    You dont have to be a genious to figure out that we are now going to have LOADS of noobs with pink walls and lvl 3 tower set on multi down in gold. Why not? Also you are talking like Im a spoiled player who cant adapt. For God sake, I have tried combos who wouldnt believe, played For a loooooong time. Pls try and explain to me what the point with multimode was? My guess was to try and nerf the WAY OP de troops that they already made OP. Whats your guess?

    What means in the end you have to spend roughly 4000 delex per fight to have at least a fair chance of succeeding. Or you cook 12 maxx dragons to get. Togehter with full load of the spell factory you have massive costs, a cook time of around 3-4 hours.

    And if your balloon attack strategy is not working against multi-infernos (I want to see a vid as a proof), you would have to hit 500 x next to find one lucky idiot who has his infernos still on single-target-mode.

    I know someone in my clan, El Mariachi, and he farms around 3000 with loonion, he goes against maxed bases with multiple infernos for 300-400k gold and 3-4k de. Yet you complain that those army's are useless. I've seen people hog still, I've seen healing armys still go against th10. Not all th10's have multiple infernos anyway, nor do most townhall 10's even up high protect the resources 100%, you can easily find exposed storages. As for lower cups you can attack th9's th10's with single etc etc etc... At champions most people don't even run multiple infernos as people are more into using golems and level 40 heroes which the infernos on multiple do poorly against....

    Yep, I tried almost every reasonable and not reasonable combination, talked to a lot of other top players but nothing works yet (except the two mentioined ones). At least I have not seen any proof like a video, a lot of talking yes, but no evidence.

    And don't get too critical, as a consquence daddy/sneakydave will close this thread ;-)

    Thank you kindly. Im trying to look at the bigger picture. When the witches came along they three starred every maxed base. You didnt even have to have any skill at all. You simply launched them and watched while they did all the work. Solution? Lvl 2 witches. Then nerf, nerf, nerf, nerf in order to bring back balance. Now you see witches as a part of a combo. Rarely full witches attack.

    Hogs, SC made them into an almost untouchable troop. Nerf, nerf... Wait! We cant nerf them anymore. Lets introduce multimode in infernos so that they get nerfed some more. Did they, for one second, think of the consequences? Sure hogs were nerfed. Archers, barbs, giants etc were killed. Give me a couple of days and I will build a base where my towers (set on multimode of course) covers all the storages. How to farm that kind of base? Ballons is probably the answer. (Yes, I hate slow troops so kill me). Dragons? (Oh no not more slow troops)

    Almost everyone who has said that its NO problem AT ALL farming are in gold 1,2,3 league smashing and grabbing getting resources in order to upgrade their own towers. Well, Im a th10 with maxed base. I dont see the fun in robbing lower th just because Im bigger, better and cant be revenged. I was enjoying myself in higher leagues, farming, testing strategies, bases until SC once again killed the fun in this now dying game.

    What range in crystal? Im in c2 and i see multi towers almost every click and hardly ever see single

    Fact:
    Multi target inferno, easily take down minion,hog and other troop .
    Lvl 3 inferno has 42 damage per second, so lvl 3 inferno only need 2 second to take down lvl 5 minion
    Let's say i have 100 minion. Lvl 3 multi target inferno only need 20 sec to take down 100 minion, if i have 2 inferno, it's only need 10 sec to take down 100 minion
    Excellent post!!!!!! Ok, it takes 10 sec to kill a full minion army. How long will it take to kill common FARMING combos? Lets say archers/barbs/giants/goblins? Archers/barbs/minions? Pls do the math. Soooooooo are we suppose to FARM with drags and balloon combos? If we take away air troops and lets say ..... We'd like to farm with ground troops. (I know, Im being wild and crazy here ) And YES the tower is set on multi, NO its not a lower th, YES of course the storages are near the towers. What to use? Golems, pekkas or any other cuphunting, looooooong cooking troop?
