I did that to a TH8 just to feel good too but it was good just for the lulzI feel your pain,these players are bad raiders and never have much stored,i still revenge these low lvl players as it makes me feel good that when he see's I've three starred him he may think twice about doing to another base

How did I know you would resort to the "even with rage spells no one would beat me" argument? And where's RegiliaRemix when you need him?
If you take off the blinders of your own hubris, you will see that my point still stands. Lightning is a low-cost/low-skill/low-reward. The other spells are a higher-cost/higher-skill/higher-reward.
Plus, SC has been diminishing the effect of lightning a storage with every update. Increasing DE storage HP, removing the loot bonus for low level players, etc.
