¡Need for maxing defense

Right from town hall 2 I have been a player who didnt care much about defenses and just focussed on maxing important troops before moving on to next town hall.Now I am at townhall 11 and this is the status of my defenses:
Archer towers and cannons 12
Wizard towers 8
Mortars 8
Xbows 4
Eagle 2
Infernos 4
Teslas 8
Should I wait on to max my defenses before moving on to th12?(All darks troops except hog and ice golems are maxed,all elixir troops except babydrag,pekka,wizard are maxed,heroes 38/38/20)..or just move to th12 in 2 months when i will be done with most of these troops?

Some variables seem to be missing:

. Are you a war player, CWL player, casual player, farmer?
. Number of walls and level?
. Rest of the defenses (traps, bombs, sweepers and such)

I for one would say grind for those heroes .... in our clans we would prefer if someone would NOT go to TH12 with this lineup [but it's all preferential and, especially if you're casual: personal]

145 level 10,151 level 11, 4 level 12.These are my walls.
My aim is to do CWL at crystal league.I will make them 45/45 atleast if not more.
Sweepers level 5.Spring traps,air bombs,mines,giant bombs maxed,bombs 1 level below max.

If you offense and heroes are maxed, I’d go to 12.the games has always favored offense
