To each his or her own. Some people put their Hidden Teslas next to an exposed Town Hall in hopes of luring and eliminating most of the attacker's troops before they get greedy and infiltrate the base for more. It's just another strategy.

Also, in theory, are you saying attackers should end the attack once they get 1 star from an exposed and 'un-trapped' Town Hall? Even if its easy to get good loot by continuing the attack? Because sometimes I go for both and 2 star bases - regardless of where the Town Hall is placed. Am I wrong in doing so? I don't think so.

Play freely and without any expectation from your enemy. Next thing you know people will be complaining about placing Giant Bombs around their bases because one took out all their Witches / Wizards. Use tactics to your advantage, don't victimize it.

Only thing i have around my th is that delicius santa strike As others mentioned it's very counter intuative. You put it out there to get a free shield, not to get 3 starred by an annoyd attacker, who just wants to rise in trophys. it's just ilogical

The chance you have that kind of reaction is very slim. Most of the time, noob attackers will just put more troops in and try to win the Th, especially when you have nothing in your storages, lol.

I love raiding a base with tesla used to trap TH snipers. As i steal all their resources i notice the TH & 4 tesla in the corner. Thanks guys. Only have to use 1 spell rather than 2 to steal ur junk

i have my th out side and backing it with 4 tesla so if the attacker whant to take the th and pick some collectors and attack one storge etc .. he will have a hard time and he will take the th and will not have enough trops to do harm to my bsae

im the exact same, its good too know there are more people like me out there

as as soon as a tesla pops up, I can and will take the whole base with me. If no teslas popped up, I would of happily taken townhall only

I love it when dudes put their teslas around the TH. I always drop one barb next to the TH to check for bombs and hidden teslas before I attack when I'm farming. Makes their base that much weaker.

Only noobs will expend their whole army trying to take down a TH. If you're TH sniping just drop 1 barb and if trapped either leave or take down their base.
