Having trouble keeping loot? Make your th easier to snipe.

Absolutely agree with the OP! I see booby-trapped townhalls so much in Crystal leagues that I keep a little something in reserve so I can unleash hell on bases that do that.

Give it a few days, and you'll start getting slammed by 30 hogs from th10 or even 9, I always have it outside, and since the uopdate I'm losing so much gold your head would spin, game is in ruins

i'll second the above remark. my TH is outside and before the update, all my attacks are TH snipe. after the update, I've 2 hogs attack that 2 star my village and another giant, wizard combo that also 2 star my village and each attack i lost over 200k gold. i lost more gold than what i got from raids and i'm hitting the next button more often as well.

When I am saving DE for a big DE upgrade I'd put a gold storage between my base and the TH. This would give non TH snipers some incentive to give me a shield. Back in the days, trying to get back that 2k DE from an all-out attack at TH 8 was a lot harder than to farm 70k gold.

Leaving th outside completely unprotected will sure attract more lower Th, along with some more zapping too

I put the white flag down as if I surrender my town hall, moved it after the update to make it absolutely obvious that it's unprotected.

you want my TH then you gotta work for it.


also to those of you saying you will unleash the fury on someone who does this, remember you didnt bait the King, Queen or CC troops so your attack will fail even worse than it does normally...

Only thing i have around my th is that delicius santa strike As others mentioned it's very counter intuative. You put it out there to get a free shield, not to get 3 starred by an annoyd attacker, who just wants to rise in trophys. it's just ilogical

why do I put teslas around my TH?

to throw my attacker off guard,
making him/her use more troops to takeout my TH
therefore left with a less powerful army to go after the rest of my base.

But why throw it out in the open if you really want to protect it? those 3-4 teslas would be so much better inside your walls?

th snipers want your trophys not your loot, so why give them any incentive to go after that loot? you should put it out in the open to keep that loot safe....thats the whole point of doing it
