No one is forcing you to read the threads, so why open a thread that’s clearly about the drop rate, or lack of, if that topic annoys you?

No one is complaining about it ‘being hard’, no one wants it on a silver platter, we just want a decent drop rate for 320 tasks. It’s TEDIOUS, not challenging.

Every single farmer can stack & plant fields, so I’ve no idea what you’re on about with NH’s that can’t do that.

I play solo, if I don’t do 10x320 there’s every chance I’ll be dropped out of the Champions League, now frankly I don’t care about that, but what I DO care about is finishing the last Achievement, the BINGO Derby. If I’m not in the CL I don’t get 10 tasks, if I don’t get 10 tasks, I can’t get 3 lines and I have to wait several more months before we get another BINGO Derby.

I need 10x320 tasks, but I’m not wasting diamonds to generate new tasks, but plenty of others will, so the low drop rate might be ‘across the board’ but other players will (as is their right) buy their way out of it.


There is nothing to be gained from a rubbish drop rate, other than frustration.

I totally agree with Smallchange , the drop rates are hit and miss. Some get good ones while others are trashing for a time to get any thing. Those with large hoods have a hard time getting enough for team members ,that is the reason the drop rates are mentioned. It's not the same for everyone.
And I haven't seen any one wanting things handed to them on a silver platter ,we just want it to be at least evenly done . Myself I would like mine on a plain plate loaded with dark chocolate lol

By golly that's a good idea , trashing as an achievement, we could also add the number of times are told to go to , etc .passing the buck with no answer and the amount of deleted messages.

Lizdiz - this really isn’t about ‘ME ME ME mentality’ it’s about people’s frustration with a perceived change in the derby that’s making it tedious for a lot of us. My posts on this issue are not about my derby - I have plenty of game time and will prepare and get my 10 big tasks done no matter how hard it is. I have a hood of 30 great players, long term friends in many cases, who may not have the luxury of huge amounts of game time that I do. I’m now retired and my kids are grown up, but many of them have busy working and family lives, and consequently way less game time. The recent constant struggle for a decent task is tedious and discouraging for them, to quote one of them “sucking the joy out of the game” - my comments are primarily on behalf of my wonderful yet frustrated team mates. It’s not a question of just getting 320’s if the spread of tasks was sensible we would consider taking some lower ones, but we are seeing board after board of tasks below 280 - nobody wanting to be even semi competitive will take those!

A lot of the bots, bugs and problems that are annoying people have been around a very long time now with little sign of improvement.

The task drop, miserable as it might be, isn’t the same for everyone. It might be random, but over a 6 day derby one would expect it to even out relatively well across a number of hoods. Some hoods are reporting masses of town tasks while others get virtually none. I’m in contact with a number of leader from competitive hoods of various sizes. A lot of us aim to do 320 only tasks, and we monitor our trashing rates. In this and recent Derbys, the trash rates (number of tasks trashed to find one task to keep) have varied greatly. Some hoods are trashing 10:1 while others are trashing in excess of 16:1 (that’s in hoods of similar numbers opted in) When evened our over a 6 day derby, that sort of difference does not suggest it’s the same for everybody. It suggests that the playing field isn’t level and that’s something is broken.

With regards to your “have I tried coding?” Question ..... no never. It’s like me asking if the software people at Supercell have ever carried out advanced life support on a patient in cardiac arrest? Of course the answer would be no, because it’s something they are trained to do, and getting a job like that right is vital. Coding is not something I’m trained to do, but I’d hope that those who are would be good at it - especially if they are employed by a gaming company worth billions of dollars, where getting it right should be vital.

my team belongs to semi-competitive type. 29 of us are working adults with only one retiree (im on my vacation break from work this week, hence, i have the luxury to break that crazy trashing record of mine...haha)...i agree with Steve that we do not have the time because we are mostly working adults. we cant possibly be having to keep going back to find an empty task board. it isnt at all practical & realistic. i never have the need to implement a rule to stop my hoodies at 3 tasks on 1st 24 hrs in the past until lately i found something amissed when i saw my committed hoodies started to grab tasks. i cant blame them for having such reaction. who wont be worried if they cant finish their tasks that they'll get blamed or even got kicked out. if i do not know each of my hoodies' style of play, i bet any leaders would have mistaken them as unreliable players.

We deleted 1130 at a rate of 14.13 per 320 with only 8 farms opted in

I only deleted 703 tasks. Not as many as you Sharile but well over 50%

Actually I read the thread to see what it was about, to gain information. I "surprisingly?" do read topics that are not of my point of view to try and understand others point of view.

i commented because the forum is becoming nothing but a place for people to complain. It used to be somewhere to come to get information and hints on game play.

if the game is developing in a way that people don't like no one is forcing them to play, just as no one is forcing me to read the forum, which I will take a break from because I am getting nothing out of the forum at this point in time.

if you have carried out advance life support on a patient in cardiac arrest and that is what you are trained in I admire your work. My husband is also trained in that area and I know the toll it takes on him.

He however has not been trained in coding and he sees the hours I put in trying to meet deadlines for the software developer I work for (not supercell much much bigger) Sometimes a seemingly simple line of code can break something else and this break may not show up until the update is live. The updates get pushed into production due to pressure from end users.

anyway as I said in my previous reply - I'm over the forum so am going to leave it to itself.
