I’m sure it’s been posted before, but why not let people use DE on wall upgrades like they did with elixir? Most of the time, th10s and 11’s will finish royals and their lab before their walls are done and then just sit on full DE until they upgrade their TH. Make them cost 50k per lvl 12 wall or something ridiculous. At least we won’t have to sit on a full storage tempting us to rush to the next level. Just a thought.

Are you really sitting on full DE storage below TH12? Have you maxed your king, queen and DE troops? If yes, upgrade your TH.
Honestly i totally agree that dark elixir should also be used to upgrade walls. Would also be a good idea to make the ypgrade cost of the town hall gold, elixir, and dark elixir because its so easy to upgrade to a new th so fast
Yep been full for a while. I’m max on everything except a couple defenses/collectors and a couple elixir troops. Same thing happened at th10. Had full DE for 2 months before I finally finished my walls. I have over 100 lvl 12 walls left so I’ll have full DE for more than 2 months this go around lol my account #2P0QJU8GP

I used to follow that advice, don’t upgrade your TH until everything else is maxed. It was good advice, but not for TH11 —> 12.
Walls are not very important so much any more up here. Bowlers, miners, wall wreckers, jump spells seriously devalue the importance of walls, not to mention the ongoing very strong attack of Lavaloonion. If you don’t already have a siege engine donor feeding you non-stop siege engines, I strongly recommend that you go to TH12.
The only cost is a loot penalty, but that is much more than counterbalanced by your increased ability to raid all of TH10-12.

I suspect the reason is the economy is partially depending on you (and me) having that full dark storage.

Not as important as have maxed heroes. Think about of all the the de and build time you've wasted cause you wanted walls.
So i am telling you that your questions have already been discussed which you already admitted to knowing but because you cannot take 10 seconds to do a simple search you would rather have the discussion all over again. You do realize that there is a search feature in this forum and if that is not obvious to you, you can have Google search this forum specifically so that you do not have to do the scrolling.
