Not sure what you are meant to be pointing out in your comment Chris but yes I did do the screenshot, my team mate shared her derby log with me and I copied it and put it here?

That happened in my hood last week paulettes and now again this week. I'm certain.
It cost us a second place last week and I think it will be worse this week. I haven't bothered to complain as hd are not answering any of our questions about the glitches. There are that many now that all game play is being effected. I really don't see how they can all be fixed with just one update.

Thank you Woodberry, really appreciate this. Isn’t it interesting that the mods have laid low without comment

I’m not sure what you expect the mods to say

this is a player based forum and the moderators are players as well

    Hi there...

As wussypuss stated...we are just players ourselves. We have been told the same thing all of you have...that these problems are too big to be dealt with by a regular maintenance and they will hopefully get them fixed when the next update comes out. As for giving out a timetable for an update....that’s not what they do.

The only extra knowledge we have is seeing how hard they are working on this. Seeing them think they have a fix and getting really excited and then how bummed they are when it hasn’t worked. They have been working really hard on taking care of all of the problems. And it really does upset them that they aren’t there yet. They’re trying. We can’t ask more of them.

As far as this whole new game stuff... yes, that game has been around for a while...but only in beta testing. Which means it was only available in certain countries. Most people over on the clash side knew about it. I just think that the nature of the game is so far removed from what Hay Day is that unless someone went looking for it....no one here would know. But....like Cowslips said....each game has its own team so any new games they are working on has its own set of people and no one from Hay Day is taken away.

Now...I’m not really sure exactly what you are looking for from the mods in response to what happened to you. If you’re asking if we’ve ever seen that happen....I can only speak for myself and say no...not once. And I am on Hay Day most of my days. If you’re thinking there’s something we can do about it....there just isn’t. We are players just like you. And we volunteer our time here to make sure it’s a nice place to be. We have no control over any game related things.

I hope this this has helped you in some small way. I can understand the frustration. But I know how important this game and it’s players are to this team and I have all the faith in the world that they are going over it intensely to get it fixed for us. As well as working on big stuff to come! If I missed anything, let me know.

    Farm on!

Raindragon ,with all the odd drop rates , multiple tasks of the same items and the people at support closing down the conversation, can you please pass this on to some one who might be interested in the problems if they have not already seen them .having support be rude in that manner might want to be looked at ,someone ask them to be a little nicer ?
It's the silence on the forums that is discouraging and I get it they may be working hard on the bugs, etc but a brief update won't hurt.

    Hi, Morgan..

They do pay attention to what’s going on here. Nick is always somewhere reading something. I do understand that sometimes the silence feels intentional. But if you think about it....they have actually come on and addressed these issues. But as it stands....nothing has changed. They are still working hard on it and it still can’t be fixed without a bigger update. They are spending all their time trying to get it all together and it would just push things back to stop and focus just on bugs. So with all of this going on....and the fact that everything still is as it was when they informed everyone...it doesn’t make a lot of sense to just keep saying the same thing. I would rather they spend their time fixing it, rather than sending out the same messages over and over.

We dont have any access to the support people, but we do bring these things to their attention when we see them. We discuss things quite a bit. None of us care for any rudeness whatsoever. But we don’t have any control over what happens after we report things and discuss them.

Trust me....I’m just as frustrated with the bugs and glitches as everyone else. But I don’t believe that any company....(much less these people that I’ve met and know personally)....is happy when their product is having problems and I know they are working hard to give us a working game. I’m okay with waiting for them to make sure it’s right.

Raindragon firstly thank you for just responding, I really do appreciate this, it’s important that sometimes people just need to be acknowledged!

I know and appreciate that mods are also players, however are they not also are the link between us mere mortals and the game developers and support? If mods are not the link between players feedback and them then who is, or are they a law unto themselves!!

I also understand that behind the scenes there could be teams of people working flat out on this, I know myself that IT systems and code is a delicate area that often is relatively easy to fix once the issue is established, it’s establishing the issue that’s the problem, but this is a big company not a kids coding club, so if the specialists aren’t there already then perhaps someone needs to consider recruiting the right people for the job!!

I lead what has been a very successful team, this week we’re 180 in global list, however they are now increasingly tired and bored of not one or two glitches but glitch after glitch after glitch - it just never gets better...

This week it’s our drop rate. Waiting for 320 tasks to appear is mind numbing as board after board turns over without a single 320 task. They are bored with the board!!!

It’s high time this and the other glitches were now fixed.

It simply isnt good enough to tell players they will wait until the next BIG update without any indication of when that will be.

First of all, if the code "is relatively easy to fix once the issue is established," wouldn't it been fixed already? The fact that it wasn't fixed yet would indicate to me that fixing bugs and glitches isn't an easy task even after the issue has been identified.

Since the current game team knows the game intimately, I don't think Supercell will recruit developers within the company or outside the company to fix the glitches. That's contrary to the company's culture; no one outside the game team has authority over Hay Day.

I don't think it's wise for the game team to give a specific date when the next update will be because during the process of development, some unforeseen bugs may pop up and the developers must focus additional time to address them as has happened in the past. Failure to meet a self-imposed deadline will create more backlash in the community, IMO.

So I'm willing to be patient and wait until the next update is ready to ship in December or in 2019.

I tend to disagree Lynne, but each to their own and I respect your views.

Mainly whilst the glitches are what started this thread if I drill down to the cause of my angst it’s more to do with frustration when support closes down reports without any acknowledgement of the reporter, or when SC mods, specialists (or whoever they are) don’t respond to concerns on threads. I wasn’t expecting the Magna Carta, though a few lines of understanding wouldn’t have gone astray!!

There’s a lot of dismayed players right now, that I do know, including me...

we are are the biggest fools for continuing to play this broken game. If it were not for my team and my love of them I’d have walked a long time ago...
