One suggestion has been ignored so far though:
A single giant bomb is almost always fairly useless in the beginnign of a hog attack since the heals negate the effect. I too would include the double giant bombs in any anti hog base. It's the only weapon we have to kill more than 3 hogs instantly.
I used Mavios 'Black Whole' in my latest cup push and got to 2868 with it. The single most important factor in the wins I had, was 15+ hogs being roasted in a double giant bomb explosion. Absolutely devestating to any hog attack (and ♥♥♥♥-in-my-pantselicious to look at in the replay). The only problems was that triggering them in the right way was heavily depended on the deployment of the attacker.
The challenge would be to intergrate them in the base design in such as way that almost any hog attack would trigger both Giant bomb pairs. Placing them in the center would realize that effect, but poses other risks. Any of you geniuses have an idea or counter argument? I'm not much of a designer myself, I'm better at poking holes in existing designs.
