He already got a big buff, what's the matter then?

I'm a pretty recent TH9, so I get bullied a lot by th9 and th10, and I know that keeping gold is tough now. But as the OP complained about losing 150k when he's at 1.5M I had to remind him that he got a pretty huge buff in that precise case as of last update.

Keeping your gold must remain something hard, and I won't ever complained about losing 400k gold when I log out with full sotrages. I'm always asking for more competitive feature in this game, and making storage more risky is all good to me.
If you really want my opinion, I think they should have kept the old system where 1M loot stored = 200k available loot, and also increase loot limit so when you have 2M you lose 400K. That would have been lots of fun.
instead they made a "boost" to loot with increased limit, but a ludicrous nerf of overall loot with 1M = 100k available loot on the other hand, and the whole point of saying that new system is broken is precisely that as most player have <2M gold stored, the boost/nerf ratio is incredibly in favor of a nerf.

The loot has never been so bad as the loot available has never been so low, at least for the first 2500 trophies.
And I don't think forcing people to go up in leagues was an intended feature, and I don't think SC has totally calculated how it'll look in the future when people go up in leagues to find loot... So far, loot is terrible, and will be for an unknown amount of time still.

But in the case the OP is talking about, I don't even see his point as he got a huge help with last update
What's the matter then!? Are you serious!? Last night I had only 1.8 million gold and I got raided and lost 300k. Now how could this be? Because of the th10's picking on the th9's and steamrolling them they now have to do the same to us th8's and then we can't do it th7's because they only offer 100k(in my experience.) That's the problem... Seeing as you're not th8 post update you can't say everything is fine.

Best advice I can give is if you are getting hit every time you log off then rather trying to make quick armies make longer stronger ones that can hit the strong TH9’s and 10’s.

Ie 16 giants, 1 healer, 6 archers, 12 wizards and 2 P.E.K.K.A's. Then just don't settle for a raid under 350k (they are easy to find around 1800 cups). Log in get your big raid then accept the loss and repeat. If you can get 350k each raid and lose 150k each time you log off you are still gaining 200k every hour. Also if it’s not already put your TH on the outside completely unprotected, you may still get hit but every time someone snipes your th instead of doing a full raid that is an extra 150k profit for the attack.

I am in crystal now and just got hit properly for the first time, he got 2-4 storages and my DE so took 150k gold and elixer and 2480 DE. It sucked by after 5-6 next pushes I found a good raid and got 250k gold, 350k elixer and 2800 DE so still gained
