Wow you really went out and did a thing, huh? Thanks man! Still trying to wrap my mind around the defenseless. We have one defenseless TH11 that I thought we wouldn’t want to include in the initial roster for first matchmaking and then not in the 15v15s from then on out do to it being an auto 3 stars defeat every war and anything less than a 3 star attack would be a net loss. Still re-reading though. Thanks a ton for the write up!

Overall all the Roster players will Receive League medals and Tier Based Reward only for the Wins they get in CWL right? And the stars earned points will go to each player depending on how much star he got.Originally Posted by 2222

At this point, I'll give my opinion on Roster selection alone, especially, for clans which are full or have 30+ members. To the Leaders/Co leaders there, I suggest that after selecting the Top 15:
- Priortise the active players for remaining spots in the roster irrespective of their TH level. That's because active lower TH players are more deserving of rewards than inactive higher townhall players.
- Priortise main accounts over alternate accounts so that most players in a clan can have rewards and speed up their progress using CWL rewards.
Apart from that, I'll suggest Co-/leaders to be vocal about their preferences & expectations from the CWL so that players can think over it when there's time. Also, this can avoid unnecessary chaos.
Last but not least, remember CWL is not the 'Be All' of CoC. So, try having more fun and avoid any sort of stress cause of it.
It may not be especially helpful in terms of racking up day wins (and there are quite a few medals for that), although even there with no MM it still helps if the alternative is a couple of TH lower. But in terms of going for the promotion and getting bigger bonuses, it's the offence that's mostly important

one question and I wonder if anyone knows the answer yet. We have an inactive leader and the clan is run by co leaders. Is there anything that ONLY the leader can do in relation to cwl? i’ve Asked several times in different threads, but haven’t seen it answered, unless I missed it.
People did ask aspects of this, and each time Darian said co-leaders could. Pretty sure I've seen that for starting CWL, and handing out the bonus medals (and that's the sensitive bit most likely). So I'm fairly sure co leaders can do everything. As long as they can agree on the bonuses!

Would CWL still work if it matched based on defense strength of top 15? In the top 15, that will be matched on their Town Halls?
Might be better to base initial seeding on defense weights since you need to drop all buildings.
How does clan war leagues work from month to month? Does it reset? What happens if I were to run a roster of TH3s one month and TH12s the next or vice versa?
