I've updated it again in light of the 10* bonus that the winning clan gets each day. Hopefully that's the last lot of revisions - it's getting rather frustrating as we find out the rules in bits and pieces.

This is one of the inherent problems within CWL!
Having the ability of being able to move players in and out during prep day, is a positive thing in general.
The problem is of course, that you really have no idea what kind of roster you will be up against, on any day of CWL.
As such, this dilutes greatly any 'skill' in base building, as it's impossible to guess the offensive strength of your likely attacker.
Anti 2, versus Anti 3 bases is rolling the dice stuff unfortunately.

That's what I noticed this morning as well. I thoughtI read somewhere that a clan could win every war in the league but still not have the highest stars in the league. I find it harder to see that ever being possible, because a clan that wins all 7 matches will have 10 stars more than the clan that only won 6. 10 stars is a huge deficit to make up by the second team, especially if the #1 team beat every other team in the league.

Caution, I often discuss for the sake of discussion and enjoy having my opinion challenged (or approved of) even when I care little about the actual issue. My balance wish: get rid of tornado trap, make it a decoration.
As 2222 said, I did write that initially as SC hadn't mentioned the win bonus. Without the +10 bonus it would be possible to have a series of high-scoring losses, say 44-45 and have more stars than any other clan. Of course if they keep getting 10 for the wins as well, that won't happen.

So basically low TH level people on your clan are screwed and have to sit on the sidelines every war or your clan is screwed when you put them in and a TH7 gets put up against a TH11

What happened to the “z base amount of medals” for everyone? It looks like it is just x+Y+bonus now, but Darian was very specific in his original x+y+z+bonus post. Did I miss a clarification?

Just wanted to stop by to say that I have learned a lot from this guide and thanks to you, I believe our clan has started the week in a very good position. It had been a lot of work for me as the leader to read and catch up with the stuff, however, it helped tremendously with planning, organization, and execution. So far, things are working pretty good.
