What do decent players look in a new clan they join?

"Every clan games I try to invite players from global.

We donate certain troops of max level, Will donate anytime they want. We are friendly They can participate in war if they want, I talk with Respect and kidness to them. No strict rules and a family friendly environment.

But even after all this. They leave the clan and find another one which has the same quality as us.

Why? Respect? I donated a player 3 times In the hope that he'll find this one a good one to stay, but he later added some abuse and slang words in chat and leave. Because? He didn't get Promotions"

So What do decent players look for in a new clan?
    There's two aspects of it.

Players who are just playing this game in a silly way, and not seriously will not find a clan to stay there, They would most likely roam around clans and mess up around. But there's an exception to it. If the player joins a very Well settled clan where he gets treated like a King and never feel like something is missing and Everything is going by him would stay there.

Players who are aware of this game and play it in a mannerful way and quite seriously will find a clan that meets their requirements and suit their play style, Such as a player isn't really active so he'll find a clan where he wouldn't be forced to to wars but take part in clan games and have a friendly environment.

my clan is a lvl 12 clan with a recently vastly improved war log. We have about 12-15 active members
Well, decent folks look for a decent clan. A clan without immature drama but a group that is active, friendly and ready to help. A good war log, donation activity, performance in the clan games and decent activity in the clan chat attracts most people who are looking for a new clan. Also, people like to be around others who are from the same time zone.

it depends how you define "decent" players, but most would probably look for in terms of importance. 1. a clan thats at least lvl 10 (yes im a snob), 2. good war log with around a 70-80% winrate for the past 10-20 wars, 3. good donations, 4. active chat

    1. REINFORCEMENTS (active clan Soldaters donating troops)

    2. CLAN sharing RSS to each members if possible.

    Ladies, if he:
    -doesn't text you back
    -doesn't like your pics
-doesn't show you his face -has no last name
He's not your man. He's EL PRIMO.

    Take anyone and everyone.
    Kick undeserving members.
    Take "better" members in.
    Kick "worse" members out.
Continue till you have what you want.

It's gonna be difficult if you're all alone.

It helps to have standards, and then stick to them. If you want to increase your win ratio, you need to harshly filter out applicants with low heroes and over-developed defense compared to offense. If they can't carry their weight in war, odds are they're not going to bring anything to the table but 2-star attacks. Look at their war stars and troop levels. If it's a TH10 with 200 war stars won, that's not an experienced player for that TH level. This will filter out about 95% of your applicants, and of those 5% remaining, maybe 1 in 4 will be a long-term keeper.

Also, don't be afraid to kick toxic or annoying players to the curb immediately, regardless of how good they are. Nothing tears a clan apart faster than drama.

It has changed over time but a few things don’t change: language, time zone, age, donations and ACTIVITY.

My experience is that like attracts like. Players are attracted to clans with higher or equal TH levels. That way, they can get troops and learn from better players.

TH12 players aren't likely to join clans with a bunch of TH6s. That's because they will get no support from the other players. Higher TH players will wind up in a one-way relationships with everyone else in the clan. If they wanted that, they wouldn't join your clan - they'd start their own and recruit new people. That's one reason among several why I discourage newer players from starting their own clans.

If you are at the lower end (TH6 or below) you shouldn't start your own clan; you should be finding a decent clan where you can learn. Unfortunately, Clash has a lot of these clans recruiting in global, and they serve as a distraction from good clans trying to attract good people.

recruit from CoC forums, invite only mode, let in only those who meet your requirements. make requirements simple and measurable that are easily verifiable based on their profile. It takes time, but as you clan grows with quality more quality members will want in.

Another way to bump up your clan is to Merge, I know most folks don't like given up the "POWER" of being Leader. But if you discuss Merger the two clan Leaders of merging clans can share Leader responsibility by rotating every 2 weeks or something like that. It will boost your number of participants and potentially have a dynamic clan.
