Can’t find Special Items

Hello everyone, I’m pretty new to the game (lvl 15) but everything has been going smoothly until today. I’ve been haying quite a bit and was getting at least 1 special item every other full crop. Now it’s been hours and there hasn’t been a single special item drop. Is there something in the code that has a drop limit per level or that doesn’t like you selling wheat? I don’t want to jump to conclusions that supercell is requiring me to spend money to upgrade my silo and barn but for the past couple hours I haven’t been having fun at all. I read a couple of threads on the forum about this problem but they all date back to 2016 and it seemed like a bug. Some people said they leveled up and it fixed the problem but I leveled up, got 1 item and haven’t gotten any since. If someone knows what’s going on that would be great.

When you're harvesting crops, special items will drop only if you have space in your barn. It's worth selling a few items to create the space if necessary.

I forgot to mention that I have 50 extra spaces of room in my barn :/ I have 100/150 slots filled.

It just takes time Bubsqueak.
So once you have town opened up and a few pets, that’s increases your chances for special items to appear. Wheating is another popular pastime for those trying to generate special items

Count the number of crops you harvest. If you are not getting one bonus item every 60 or so harvested crops, something is wrong. The number of harvested crops between 2 bonus drops goes up as the farm levels up, so i didn't mention exact numbers but 60 (or lower for your level) should be a solid guideline.
