Higher level people shouldn't have the right to feast on weaker and lower levels without any retaliation whatsoever.

Without lightnings, I can just stomp any and every th8 and th7 I feel like, and they can't do anything at all about it because of my defenses.

If SC removes the ability for lower levels to lightning higher levels, then they should also remove the ability for higher levels to attack lower levels.

When they changed the cost of spells I was really worried about DE strikes. At first they did go up - but oddly I have had less of them of late. The few I still do get are just plain dumb. I don't have enough in the storage to even justify wasting the spells they used.

In the thread creators example - that sucks but it was also a dumb move on the part of the attacker.



5 spells I feel have a certain value in relation to time. 5 spells would take 2 and a half hours to cook.


With 2 of those spells being rage (so 3 lightening) I can easily get 2,000 DE as a TH 9. So that is just a waste of spell usage.

Don't you guys think that perhaps the fact that TH7 has no other way of getting even the tiniest bit of DE save for raiding has anything to do with it? Only TH7+ have any DE, so the easy attacks on -1 TH level are out of the question. You have to attack either other TH7, who usually are strugling with DE just as you are, or you attack TH8, 9, 10, who are out of your league, especially if you have just upgraded to TH7. At the end of the day, zapping is a good way of getting DE, especially now the spells are elixir.

As for higher TH levels doing it, well, they are just lazy. Cook some spells, come back a couple of hours later, zap, queue, repeat. Great for semi-active players.

By the way, I am not TH7.

Your comparing apples and oranges. There is a HUGE difference between taking gold from someone who hasn't logged on in a week and obviously doesn't care about their gold and zapping someone who has busted their rear to get 50k DE.

It's not just the skill factor that counts.

i know its a part of the game but i really hate this part .
as a th 10 i dont raid th 7&8's ,
i see it as a coward act , it dosen't mattter how great my base is , they can just come and take 1.5-2k de with lightings ..
i dont say they should remove it , but they should at least decrease the amount they can take

That's more of an argument for allowing it on revenge than anything else really.

So your saying that lower town halls have to revenge? Me for example I never revenge, so if somebody stomps on a lower town hall for loot do they have to revenge lighting? Or can they go find a raid of their own and get some faster and bigger dark elixir. Now I do see some people boost spell factory for 3-4 lightings in incredible speed and get 4k de minimum per hour, minimum.

Well if you took the time to read the comment it says "i might start" so it isn't something i would normally do.Being a town hall ten i prefer to bust the base an take as much possible,i don't care who lightnings me it is part and parcel of the game,and i don't begrudge anyone anything in this game,not even the dark elixir.So yeah let them revenge away lol.

I get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when people lightning me too, but really who cares? It's an imaginary resource in a game that we play for fun.. Whoever did it expended more time or money than you did in farming the resources. Less effort, yes, but still more time or money in getting those spells ready.
