    All these scruples, wow...
I must admit (lowers head in shame) that whilst I wouldn’t buy for the sake of buying, I absolutely would buy if it were items I needed, regardless of price. It works both ways and I’ve had things also taken from my store too.
I just don’t get the “I’m listing but please don’t buy from my store” mantra, the shop is there to buy from!
Perhaps SC should introduce a lock down crate for own hood expansion sharing, that could fix it.
Until then I’ll happily shop till I drop (just gonna go hide under a rock whilst I get slaughtered )

I never buy, often great items, that I see up for sale in those boxes on the far right for 1 coin as I assume they are there for their own NH members who may be lower levels and have been put up because a team member has requested them or to help those members at lower levels progress as I think surplus materials/produce would normally be sold for the basic price generated or more.

Many times I have had those items bought from my stall by people in my friends bar and although all is far in love and war and Hay Day it does slightly annoy me (only for a second) as I wouldn’t buy them .....

So would you, or wouldn’t you ?

What unwritten rules, if any, do you play by?
Marizipan, I admire your self-restraint. I lack it and will buy any items if I need it for upgrades or complete a task regardless of the price or where the sellers placed the items in their shops.

I play by my Rule of Reciprocation. After placing items for sale in my shop, I don't have an attachment to them. When I sell rare items, I notify my hoodmates with chat and wish them good luck. I accept the outcome that they won't be quick enough and my many followers may be quicker.

I used to be annoyed when unintended recipients got my gifts. Then like the game, I've evolved and let it go as soon as I put my goods up for sale. The game has been more fun since I detach emotional involvement with my goods.

I don’t buy things from my friend’s lasts boxes, and won’t take more than 2-3 items from their shop either; I don’t mind who takes things from my shop, except when I’m putting things for my baby farm

Pardon my spelling, it is a little bit hard to write while you are cooking, playing Hay Day and throwing shoes at your kids so they stop fighting (just kidding about this one )

I would buy. Since I never look at the price, I would not even notice if it was for one coin. I do not stop long enough when I see something I need to assume as you do. I simply buy before someone else does. There is no such thing as an unwritten "rule" - the real rule is that if it is for sale, you can buy it. It is not as if it is a real item anyway or that you are depriving someone of a real thing.
