Angry Is balloon/minion strategy obsolete now?

So I'm a ballooner and already after a few raid save noticed that I can't really win with balloonions since inferno towers can now target multiple attackers. So my question is goin out to all the ppl who use balloons. U guys finding it as hard as I am to attack these bases now? I know its only been about a day since I.T.'s have been changed but if today is any indicator of whats to be then in my eyes looks like that attack strategy is no longer viable anymore. What u guys think?

Just depends on who you attack... When you get higher up it seems like iit would be higher since the increase of inferno towers but ive seen sop of the top 10 still using it

    It's definitely a hit to it's viability.

You're gonna have to stick to TH9's, or find that silly TH10 with it's Inferno's set to single/X-Bows set to ground.

    Not obsolete, but hindered.

I used Balloons/Minions to make Master at TH9, then went to Hog Rider after that. Since update i've gone back to Balloons with some success. Using 32 balloons, 40 minions. Replaced the two heal spells i used to use with 2 more rage spells to power the loons through the core. So far it is just as easy as ever to get the 50% for one star, but clearing out enough to two star seems much less likely. Out of 6 attacks at 2750-2800 trophies since the update, I've one starred 4, two starred 1, and lost 1 (didn't see an air xbow). So yeah, Balloons/Minions still seem a safe and steady way to climb the ranks.

I've also found a lot of success going back to the GO-WIPE and chosing bases with ITs set to multi. Though, if the wizards get too close to the ITs on multi you can kiss them good bye.

Balloonion against multi mode infernos usually requires avoid the core and picking at the outside for 50%. Attacking multi mode infernos can be done by adding a dragon too, but its usually better to avoid them if you can.

Check out the clan LOONATIX. We share balloonion strategies and replays such as the champ level balloonion raid below.
