    Absolutely this^^

    Maybe masters III to fill the treasury sometimes, but crystal is sweet.

    It is such a shame that trophy pushing heavily favours time spent over individual attack skill/base design. The system actively encourages account sharing.

    Can it be changed? Yes.
    Will Supercell change it? Probably not.

    The system has been like this since forever and business-wise it makes no sense to change it from a money making system to competitive eSport.

    Reading this post made me think you have to be a low level TH, or you are rushed greatly.

    Based on my assumptions, I will say climbing trophies becomes child's play when you are at the top of the food chain with decent heroes. Pushing in legends becomes work, but getting to legends when you are a TH11/TH12 with 30+ royals and 5+ gw is a cake walk.

    I never push, I just attack and let the loot roll in. Naturally based on the number of attacks I perform I naturally drift up to legends until I can't take the wait times and I drop back down. If you are a TH8 or lower, or even a TH9 with sub-20 royals, it will be an uphill battle to climb into Titans and up when you go against TH10s - TH12s.

    Perhaps attempting to reach a very high level of cups promotes account sharing but simply reaching Legend doesn't require that.

    I spent my first season in Legend as a TH11, attacking and being attacked by 12's. I was also rather "casual" in my playing but managed to make small progress. Around 5,400 cups, as an 11, facing gemed 12's, only able to attack 4-6 times a day.

    It's pretty simple. If you're lower than a max or near max 11, high leagues should be an extreme challenge to achieve and maintain.

    This only makes sense. That said, if you are a strong 11 or a 12 (like I am now) Titan and even Legend will happen by simply attacking provided you're not extremely rushed in offence or defense.

    For everybody who has commented, thanks. And as I said, I don’t care about being attacked. I’m a newish th11 who is pretty much going though the .5 experience. I have a circle style base, with max archer towers, max cannons, max infernos and max xbows along with max air d. I’ve not laid down anything new yet, except my GW.
    ive very comfortable in attacking and normally get 2-3 stars depending on the base, I tend to use lavaloon but can use goval. A bit old school, but didn’t wanna try bowler combinations as I was afraid to fail, as most trophies are max 5-10, with a loss of +30 on nearly every raid.

    thats how I know I’m going to get smashed every raid, what’s annoying is the trophies that I’m likely to lose every raid, to what is available for me to gain everyday of the week

    The island bases are some of the easiest to 3 star, so you might want to adjust that design. For general pushing tips for legends, there is a link in my signature to a thread I started on that if you are interested. One thing you may want to consider for sure is to next past some of those 6 cup offers. Those aren’t worth hitting if you have time to wait for another.

Caution, I often discuss for the sake of discussion and enjoy having my opinion challenged (or approved of) even when I care little about the actual issue. My balance wish: get rid of tornado trap, make it a decoration.

    Seriously not trying to be mean or argumentative, but..... So I fully understand. You are complaining you lose too many trophs on a defences, yet you have not built the defences for your level yet? Maxing a few things isn't going to get you any defences at high trophy level. You are just and easy target for pretty much everyone from TH10 to 12. At this time with the current offensive powers, holding a war army to 1/2stars is considered a defence. If you only have the defensive counts of a TH10 its little wonder that you are struggling to maintain your league. TH9's and 10's that push up that high get smashed the same, ever...single...defence. Build some defences and once in a blue moon you'll get trophies on a defence. I will roll through a TH11 like butter, so a 10.5 is hardly worthy of my troops. All these guys are stuck in the vlouds just like you. They will never pass on an easy triple when it's presented to them on a silver platter.

    The imbalance between trophies lost and gained is a source of constant irritation for me as well. It;s something that really needs to be addressed. That said....

    Honestly, pushing is for neither casual players nor those who are not at the endgame. You’re still in the SimClash stage - building your game up. You can push, but to what end, especially as a casual player? You’d be better off spending your little bit of free time just harvesting resources for your upgrades, maybe joining the occasional Clan War, until you finally max TH12. You’ll find it much more enjoyable (as you mentioned) and isn’t that what a game should be...?
