Farms with Don’t Water!!! As their name.

I don't take help tasks, unless I'm forced to (see mystery tasks), hence I don't need dead trees for revives. Most of my helps for helping events come from filling friends' boat crates.

I check frequently help tab to see if my friends need help with their boats, and I fill the crates, if any. I exceptionally water their plants.

On my farm? My plants, my axes/saws, my decision on who waters my plants and gets the free xp.

Sometimes I rename my farm "do not water" because a lot of friends, which I helped with boats but not watered on their farms, decide to revive my plants. It's annoying when a hoodie gets from my farm only 10 or less for task, although I tagged 30.
Everything on my farm is thought through, planned in advance, including the time when some plants would be ready for revive.

I wanted to name my farm 'don't buy my stuff unless you're gonna fill my crate' everytime i have a boat opened because seriously i posted an item every 4 minutes 29 times before i got a crate filled and it was wheat!!!

I just unfriend people if they're watering my plants when my neighbors need them. A lot of people don't speak English, so can't be expected to obey farm name commands, even if they're so inclined. At this point, most of my interaction is with my neighbors, and occasional trade partners.

Rivaille, could it be that you're so high level now that the number of people who can fill your crates is much lower? Even with wheat...the amount of wheat per crate increases as you level up, and lower level players might have a hard time filling a crate.

I hardly ever help strangers these days. Just not worth the hassle if you get a stalker. The kind of player who waits at your RSS and buys everything, but never waters a plant, so you can't buy anything from them.

I agree with you. During a derby I always check to see if someone is doing a help task then I am more causes about watering. If there are only one or two I feel free to water. I like to get gift cards and I get resentful when someone tells me how to play the game. I got chastised by a neighbor for watering one plant. I always read the back chat and if you haven't stated that you are saving plants because someone is on a help then don't bother me. As you said, you certainly don't mind me filling your crates, your premium item requests or giving you free items.

I don’t change my farm name for a help task at all. The NH knows th entrees are to be flagged for them and often the location. Mostly they are quick enough. I am always grateful for help 

Same here, Gymgirl I barely flag tress for help when they are not meant to be for a help task, but if someone else waters them I just think my hoodies were too slow. When I’m on a help task, I go through the DD and water everything I can find - no matter what the farm name says LOL. When one of my friends has trees to be watered, I wait 10 seconds and then help. When I‘m not on a help task, I wait 10 seconds and only water up to 5 trees or bushes.

You and/or your hoodies are doing it wrong. Tell your neighbors to keep visiting your farm, and not wait for the help notice to come up in chat, because it might not come up at all there. Or you should flag some plants, and stop when you see that the chat help notice came up, wait for your neighbor to water the plants, then start flagging again.

Also, tell your neighbors exactly where the plants are before starting to flag them.

My plants are very much in the open, easy to spot by anyone, even if my neighbours know which plants I tag. Tag and wait, tell them in advance - not working. Unfriending farms who overlook "don't water" sign - works every time.

Glottis, there's every day farming, with trees and bushes needing revive, and there are helping events, for which I add more trees and bushes on my farm, especially for the event. One time we had a helping event and a help themed derby, so every tag for help was hunted everywhere.
That time, no matter what I did, farms from my friend list, outside the hood, were watering plants meant for hood tasks. I unfriended a lot of farms due to that, because, once again said, I should be able to control what happens on my farm.
