players exiting mid match accelerates the battle to finish, but I’m stuck waiting

It’s very frustrating playing builder hall matches and the person exits the clash of clans app when there’s a single wall breaker left. It shows that they disconnected but meanwhile they log back in and can play a different match while I’m still waiting for my match to end because they “disconnected” by exiting the app. It wastes my clock tower boost.

Sometimes I like to hold on to a single troop and run the clock out. Are you sure that’s not what’s happening to you?

I hate when my opponets have one archer or minion left, and they refuse to end the battle, even thogh they won. It just wastes my clock tower boost. I think there should be a clock tower boost pause button to fix this.

I noticed when I’m watching an attack in war and they obviously closed the game it will sit and spin but if all of the observers leave it ends immediately. I’ve toyed with this by having more than one acct open. Just stop watching and back out.
