It was mostly addressed to the people claiming that there are no loot, I changed my tactic from Bam to a giant based army, gaining a bit less gold but a whole lot more DE. But yeah I can take a big chunk from TH8s now so I do see the problem for lower THs (A lower % to steal maybe or increased loot penalty?). The update encourage people to finish off their cheaper building first which I think is good, I'm going to be attacked alot when I'm sitting on full storages before my TH finishes but I'm sure I can take the loss when I gain it back in 1 or 2 raids.

Until loot overall improves, my view is to focus on DE at the moment, exploiting the new cap of 3000 in particular.
Here is the logic.

There is only 1 DE storage so unlike gold/elix (4 tanks) it is much easier to defend and at the same time to raid it.
Also, there is no DE dump like it's the case for gold (walls) or elixir (spells) so players would naturally have lots of dark available for longer times.
Even if you lose 3000 from a raid, the three drills combined would give you back what you have lost during your shield period, which is currently NOT the case with gold mines and elixir collectors.
Of course in the end you will have the benefit of stronger heroes for both defense and offense, which will also enable you to try different raid strategies (I might max my goblins after all and see what happens).

I am speaking from a crystal/master league perspective, where I have not experienced solid good gold/elix loots as of now, with the exception of inactive bases.
Get all the DE before it will also all even out!!!!!!!

build up the heroes, build up the walls, everything else can wait

Hey! I really don't care for the loot system cause farming was always somehow possible....buuuut! This thing with the healing spell and inferno tower is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course its now better for the champions but for the mid-level players its a disaster! Beside that the inferno tower is now overpowered, its nearly impossible with no healing spell! please undo this thing, cause its really annoying!!!

I'm still a TH 9 aren't I? They should be able to find the same raids as I do, some easy TH 8s that you can get with lvl 5 troops. Change your army composition and your trophy lvl, It's about adapting, if the game changes your strategy must change.
But as I said, I can see why more casual players are upset cause the update encourage activity.

Fix the loot system!!! Y'all did a horrible job. How are we supposed to upgrade our stuff with no loot! Fix this now!!!

The lvl isnt important, donate and they will rise fast, the topic is about the loot for players, a th9 could be both lvl 40 and 113 so it does not make any sense.

Thanks you sc for trying to help out the game and continuing to mod it. I am a TH10 player and played just over a year now and love the game i can normally farm 3mil plus a day to help with expensive upgrades as im an active player. This new update to be honest changes the game far to much. I can't find any player to attack unless im all in with a massive army which takes 2hrs to build even at that im not winning much. I have been upto masters league which was easier than this! You have my vote plz return the loot system to like it was before. Thanks

Pretty disappointed so far.

Im an almost maxed TH7 attempting to save enough for Th8 but struggling pretty hard. Ever since I upgraded mortars and wizard towers I've been hit over 50% only a handful of times. The past 24 hours I've been wiped clean 4 times by level 5 or 6 troops for a LOT of resources. If I'm logged out for more than 15 minutes I'm blown away.

Good bases to raid are hard to find as well. I used to have no issue finding 200k+ each resource on a terribly defended base, but now I'm having trouble finding 150k, but when I do , it's very well defended. I hope something changes, cause I can't save for upgrades right now...which was supposed to be the intent of this update.

I only see see it getting worse as other th9 and 10s realize you can steamroll lower level bases with a cheap army for much of the loot one could obtain against a stacked base at their level.
