Have you maxxed all your pumps and mines out.If you have you would have made most of that loss back in that amount of days surely,if you haven't maxxed them then yeah you wont recover the losses.My daughters account is town hall 8 an she doest get hammered her upgrades are still being done.She lives off her mines and pumps an is a new town hall 8.Originally Posted by tolis

I really don't have to say anything about the loot system as I think that it was and still is solely based on luck.
My concern is, that Sc has changed Inferno Tower in such a way that it has 0 weaknesses at the moment. I mean Witches or Heal+Hogs were somewhat of a counter to them but now I see no way to reach those storages that are guarded by 2 IT but multiple freeze spells and perhaps 1-2 rage spells as well.
I understand that SC is willing to kill that 40 hog+ strategy which was uncounterable before this update, but it also killed the witch strategies as well. I mean if I pay 1400 DE for 4 witches I expect them to work.
I suggest that they change the IT so that it wont have increased damage effect on summoned troops such as Golemite and skeletons. This way we will once again have some reason to use our long forgotten golems and witches as well.
Maintenance break! Hopefully they're making some adjustments ...
EDIT: Dang! I just got attacked *during* the maintenance break. What the ... ?!? Can't even log on to see how much damage they did.

Six maxxed out mines or collectors will net you 420,000/day, enough to keep you going for a while upgrading all the new toys you get with a new TH, but not enough to do anything besides walls once all your defenses are at TH7 level and you're trying to max out at TH8, where a cannon 8-to-9 upgrade costs 800,000.
I agree, though, that if you can't afford to upgrade anything else right now and your builders are sleeping, then investing in your mines/collectors is a good strategy until SC can tweak this update to be more equitable. Its a cheap investment with a long-term payoff, and you're only committing your builders for a few days, at most.

Hey i farm i am just not as crazy as some in here,about how much per hour lalala.I dont really care what you think aslong as i am finding decent raids.All the people in here just moaning about how bad it is should adapt or move on to some other games,as has been pointed out many times to myself when i came on complaining an crying about stuff i didn't like.As i have posted on an earlier post i am not as active as i used to be,but can still make the 8 mill for my inferno an over half way to next one.What has water depth gotta do with anything any way.

I am a Town Hall 8 and I am the type of player that will play for 4 to 5 hours and then stop playing. I am the type of person that has my Town Hall on the outside in hopes that I will get a 12 hour shield if sleeping or at work. I am the type of person that does a 180 barbarians and 10 minions as my troop configuration. I am also the type of person that loves to find an inactive base with easy collectors and mines. At first this upgrade worried me but I got to 2.5 million gold from last night attacking and this afternoon attacking. I also just got my BB King to upgrade with 35,000 Dark Elixer. I will say the hardest part of the upgrade is getting the Dark Elixer. I was a huge fan of using my lightning spell or finding level 10 inactivates to get crazy amount of DE. This update should force me to upgrade my own collectors and mines to level 11 as I wouldn't have had to in the past......
As always with this game I think the easiest thing to get and have is Elixer. I sneeze Elixer when I'm sick I always have so much of it so please keep the Spells as Elixer. Thank you
This upgrade isn't awful for a constant playing person as me without logging off......If I was an attack and log off for an hour and then attack and log off for an hour and my gold and elixer was really high I am not sure I would be a happy camper as others are throughout this forum.

Can I find as much gold? no
Am I okay with it? yes
Can I still find and find as much and okay with it elixer ? yes to all
Can I still find Dark Elixer? yes but it is hard with my attack strategy
Can I still find as much? a heavy decrease in what I could take
Am I okay with it? no because I am starting to get into where I need 40,000, 50,000, and 60,000 DE to upgrade Golem, Vakerie and BB King to Level 10
but I am still going to play this update would not be forcing me to quit

Guys, there are soooo many threads on loot right now, and at least one that's also requesting to go back to the old system. Of course, please try to keep as much feedback as possible in the official feedback threads.

I have read so many posts on here and there is only one explanation for the new loot system.
I see people saying they are finding great loot and they will. I see people saying that their storages are being decimated and that will of course happen.
The new loot system is here so that if you try to save up for expensive upgrades you will be able to find gold but once you get over 4 mil, it will be taken faster. That will keep everyone playing but it will be harder and harder to get that last little bit to put into an upgrade. Everyone will be slowed down just a bit and hopefully enough to spend just a little bit more on gems. This will keep you all playing and unless you spend money, progressing at a slower rate. The only ones that will get good are people that spend money. It's been put in to keep the casual player playing and hopefully squeeze just a little more cash out of them.
Supercell doesn't want you to play for free and not purchase gems. The whole reason they made the game is to make money.
So please stop telling us your finding more loot. Stop telling us that your storages are getting decimated. Your just telling them it's working. They know this will all happen. It's by design.
