    How come people are saying, “This is the weekend, most of players are online, come weekdays, less people will be playing so loot will stabilize, its too early to assume, etc, etc..” Are you actually telling me that the new loot system would function only when there is less gamers logged on? That premise right there screams fail! Don’t you realize that this is the acid test of the update? There is no better time than now. This post-update weekend is the best time we’ll find out if the new loot mechanics would work because massive amount of clashers are playing, farming, plus most are not suffering from insufficiency of resources.

    Now, if you’re claiming that loot will stabilize when less people are logged on, then we could go to the conclusion that the new loot system failed to reach its objective. And that is to prevent loot shortages across the leagues, at all timezones, most especially when clashers online are at its peak. It did the exact opposite when it is needed themost, when a lot of players are in-game. Gold loot in particular was the worst since the recent update, stating it not only from personal experience but also judging from clan talk to, of course, the forum. Diseconomies of scale, that what it is happening right now and it its destroying the game fast.

    SC is saying that they are afraid of the consequences of resource inflation(that’s why they won't introduce additional generators of resources), but are they not afraid of severe deflation? At which point multitudes of clashers, gemmer or not, have no more resources to go on for offense/defense, they just quit. As opposed to the scenario of inflation, wherein lots of resources are thrown around, but people are also generally happy they keep on playing, inviting more friends, eventually gemming the game. Though this can be discussed on a different day.

    Right now, if you’re saying that loot will improve when less people are online, then am sorry to tell you that this system is flawed and broken, thus needs to be reverted to its pre-update status by SC or focally fix the loot problem of TH 10 thats existing since its inception.

    TH8 Troubles

    I'm a TH8 and am going to TH9 in two days... I had 36k DE before this update and was hoping to have enough for my Archer Queen once my town hall upgrades, but i've been losing 2k DE everytime I log off and can't make it back... I hope the loot system reverts back to the old one because this is very frustrating...

    I have been having little to no luck with searching for good loot. I'm TH8 with max troops (besides dark troops) a traditional attack with 16 giants, 71 archers, 5 gobs, 2 healers, 8 wall breakers, 1 rage, 1 heal, 1 lighting spell is about 170,000 elixir. I have to search a very long time to find anything to break even. Still fun to play and raid just real frustrating trying to get loot for upgrades. Similar to what most others are mentioning on this thread.

    Curious to know why you think that? This update made th8's juicy for th9's and 10's to farm, assuming they have hit the loot cap. A th9 can now loot a th8 for 270k instead of the old 180k. Th ten's now raid a th8 at the cap for 180k as opposed to the old 100k. I don't know about you but those numbers are pretty good. And I'm pretty sure that 9's and 10's have no problem making a fairly cheap army to raid th8's for profit.

    Now th9's also should be raiding th7's as well because they rack up 125k now but I'll bet you they can roll through a 7 with an army that's cheaper than that.

    If I was th9-10 I would be farming one th level below me looking for the new bases because they'll be juicy for me and easy to take.

    Supercell could not care less about their players - they have proven that several times, and especially this time! I simply do not understand why they are not giving some of the things we really asking for. It's like they never test the actions they are doing. I'm really disappointed Supercell - for the last few months.

    So far thats what ive come across. Th 7 and 8 have nothing for me to loot. nice if you are finding them. Ive been going after weak th9 and 10 and getting 250k + each raid and sometime 400k for inactives; however Im only raiding 2-3 times an hour instead of 5 because I changed farming strat.

    take the edge off for the recieving end, no need to back pedal on the offencive side

    On the whole I think it is still too early, not all consequences are fully developed for a complete picture, however....

    certain changes are already clearly necessary! I am playing at TH8 and now I cannot compensate a heavy hit by sitting out my shield; my mines and pumps will not replenish my losses as they used to. This is VERY FRUSTRATING and can be easily fixed by higher output.
    My meantime sollution is: TH outside hoping for cheap shields consecutively, living off my mine/pump output and clashing once or twice whenever my shield has run out.

    The bigger loot from THs at an higher level than mine, poses an empty promise to me, as I am alowed pretty strong troops, but not alowed enough camp capacity. TH9 and TH10, espescially with the new Inferno Tower, are too strong.
    Simple fix to help things along: Lower the next army camp upgrade (lvl 7) to TH8.
    (FYI to me there has been no army camp upgrade available since TH6 !!)

    These are two minor adjustments which I cannot believe to be really unbalancing for the game but would greatly take the edge off for the recieving end, without backpedalling on the new loot system.

    Unhappy My 2 cents

    Now that I've finally figured out how to post I'll add my thoughts.

    Re. Loot system change: while the new loot system is good in theory, the problem (as many others have noted) is that there is simply not enough gold in the game's economy. SC acknowledges that the loot system was setup before th9&10 came along, and needed to be changed to accommodate them. The same is true about mines and collectors, so why has SC not improved them (adding more, or adding lvl12+) at the same time? Or, if the goal is to encourage higher trophy levels they should significantly increase league bonuses.

    As it stands it is more entertaining for me to read all the complaints on the forums than to actually play the game (anyone actually enjoy hitting next endlessly?). I've also noticed a significant decline in my clan's activity level.

    I'm a fairly recent th10, but have barely progressed since the last 2 updates....

    What th and trophy range are you at? I've been climbing from low silver 1 to crystal 3 (I'm in gold 2 currently) and I can tell you that below 1500 is a barren wasteland for th8's to try and raid. I saw one juicy th7 with full stores that I gladly took everything from, but everyything else is avg 100k or less. I'm not counting the high 9's and mid 10's with wonderful loot, because as a new 8 I can't take them until I get my troops upgraded.

    Thumbs Up Feedback about update.

    Hi.

    After 2 days lost in the game this afternoon i've stolen 3 millions of gold and elixir in 4 hours. In my last message i'd said that i don't like this update, now i'm looking to change my opinion. Sure they can steal you near 400k of each ressource in one attack but you can steal it after in one too.

    Good game and work, i only wait now some troop against these inferno's towers.
