If you'd bother reading the entire post of the update you would know that SC even warned that it will take a few days before we will see the effects of the new system. Save your whining for a while and let it all flood out in a few days if it hasn't changed.
Just a friendly advice so you won't look like an ♥♥♥ if the system improves like they promised.
Seems like you're not getting it, people have it easier to save up loot from scratch now but you can steal more from them when they've saved up alot. Hence, we need to wait until people have had the opportunity to save up loot to before we can see those big raids. It's already getting better in my oppinion but I changed my trophy lvl and farming army.
I'm done. With my TH lvl 10 account. I will still play on lvl 8 TH account. If it gets better there i will got back to my TH lvl 10. For now i have stopped attacking on my TH lvl 8 account. Now gob missions are the only way to keep my builders from sleeping

- The new loot system, to put it nicely, sucks bigtime. Punishing the casuals heavily and doing the opposite what it's suppose to do: making it even harder to gather big amounts.
Interface and feature improvements

✔ Village Edit Mode: New base layouts in-progress will be automatically saved and resumed if the game restarts
- still not a "save layout" but better than nothing

So using school marks from 4 to 10, I'd give this update a solid 4 for messing the loot system.
Only positive thing about this update is... We got a new & active member joining our clan just after. Besides that, I would have passed the update altogether had I the option.
Honestly, I do not know why they keep making the giants better. Good for me, I suppose. Giant healer works better than ever. But they did not need a buff...

Looking at the situation now, I really hope it will improve. Although I have to skip more bases than I used to prior to update, I can still find decent bases with 100k that are not heavily defended in the center. Supercell please fix this.
I think you are the one who doesn't get it, I'm already at town hall 9, with the new update my loot available from town hall 8 and below have decreased significantly that now when I search for bases to raid more than 90% of them are below 100k and it is almost impossible to find one above 200k now and the new inferno tower is not making it any better to attack town hall 10s not that it was easy to start with. Whereas on the other hand I'm getting raided close to 300k. Think logically and you would see it's quite impossible to profit from raiding now. What am I suppose to expect in a few days? That I'll be able to raid more rich people who probably got their money from others during this period of time? That is complete rubbish. If you are still surviving well then good for you, but that's not the case for most of us here.

Town Hall Level 9 with level 8 walls
I'm a TH 9 aswell, made a profit of about 6 mill gold yesterday, change to a storage raiding army and your trophy range, the loot is out there believe me.
What I'm expecting is the inactives to come into play again which will help those 100k< to become 200k for us to raid. To be honest the ones that has 100k now would have TH 10 220k (wouldn't attack unless rushed) TH 9 180k (if I'm on a dry streak) TH 8 160k (sure, unless close to maxed) TH 7 100k (reached the cap, wouldn't attack) with the old system. We were only attacking if they had some in mines/pumps aswell or really rushed, the bad loot is cause it has been an update not that the loot system change (I agree though, it's making it look worse but no real impact on the raiding).
