There is a lot of ways to spin this really, and only time can reveal the true results.

One thing is certain in my eyes however, SuperCell have made it harder to sit on maxed out storage's. Now that is not really a bad thing.

u cant make a th9 that has 20k loot be lootable for 100k+. its not possible.

the loot problem wasn't the problem u mentioned (which idont view as a problem at all). the problem was that when people trophy pushed they lost loot due to spells, army cost, and search cost.

if you go to master league, or even Chrystal 2 or 1 youll find probably 50% of bases with ~200k ea to loot. at masters it will be even higher. with the new system im guessing ull find 250-350 as an average.

There isn't necessarily more loot available. One can take more from other TH9s and TH10s that have a load of loot. But in general, there isn't more loot. Which is the golden point of this thread.

Those TH9s that have < 50k still have that small amount. Judging from this past month, those bases with tiny amounts make up ~80% of the bases I scrolled through. Hence, there is still a loot problem. Allowing us to raid more from the well protected bases, just helps ease the pain of spending 50k gold to find a base worth raiding

I think we both agree that being a premmie sucks tee hee....

Regarding your golden point, if you can now take more from TH9s and TH10s that have loads of loot, isn't there generally going to be more loot available?

I regularly find bases with 200k loot available, and I do attack them, seeing as I mostly spend my time in the 2200 trophy range. Now I have the potential to take more off them, I am excited!!!!!

I'm sorry you might not (might, as none of us is sure until the updates do come out) get to enjoy it. But there goes your golden point, there will be a loot increase, just maybe not for you.

    Not liking this update

The decrease in the loot percentage means less loot available. The cap increase means that you can take more loot from people who have a ton of loot, only problem is that the players with the most loot have good bases and good defenses and it will be almost impossible to take them down unless you use a very powerful army. The loot will dispersal from noobs completely, and you will be forced to attack the maxed out bases, because they are the only ones with loot.

Basically, there is going to be less loot that can be taken with farming armies, because the only ones with loot, are the people with strong bases.

This is definitely going to cause a major change to how the game economy works, I foresee a lot of tougher town hall 9 and 10s moving up in trophies to where they don't stand out so much and also where other good storage raids are more likely to be. It will also be a tremendous help to Th 10 preemies, by the time you need to save up more than 2 million for upgrades your base is going to be reasonably tough.

What this does not solve though is that not enough resources are entering the game to keep all the active players going, they are still operating on a system where there has to be a steady stream of players quitting in order for the more dedicated to have something to raid. Hopefully the plan is to make more loot available now that the system should be more balanced.

Also, for everyone like myself who plays on their phone and pretty much has to log off between most attacks this has the potential to REALLY suck, if I am now going to get gowiped for 350k every time I log off but rarely find that much to attack then I may have no choice but to add one more dead base to the stack. I am really hoping it will not be that bad.
    Stuff should really go here.

Cause for most th10, taking out 2 storages is rather easy as a th8… especially once you hit crystal. The whole thing is rather beffudling…
Could someone please answer? I would like to know if that is how the system works.

However you are correct overall gold and elixir need to be created in the game to allow for buildings to be upgraded etc.

So we have the (gold) economy of:

GOLD IS GENERATED IN THE GAME:
    Mines create gold
    Win bonuses

GOLD IS TRANSFERRED IN THE GAME BETWEEN PLAYERS:
    Raiding

GOLD IS LOST FROM THE GAME:
    Clicking Next
    Upgrading buildings/walls etc
(Gold can only really be lost from the game as fast as it is created or slightly faster until a balance is reached)

This update has only fixed the Transfer between players, this will be faster, and fairer.

Loot is not created any faster, unless somehow this fix makes it more viable to raid at higher leagues (I don't see how this is the case though)

However loot will be spent faster as players with High totals of gold in the storages will be more inclined to protect them well, and turn risky gold resources into safer upgraded walls. Hopefully less loot will be lost to the game from clicking next as more bases will have decent levels of loot.

So loot not generated appreciably faster.
    (Transfer rates mean little)
More loot probably spent in game as soon as it is available, rather than being held in reserves.

As the population of Clash of Clans matures, and more players have Mines that create only 432,000 (or 504,000) Gold but have building requirements that remove 2,000,000 gold from the game, as well as the 100,000s spent on [NEXT] loot will get harder to find.

Apart from inactive players (YAY!) there ought to be ongoing loot creation improvements.
This hit the nail on the head. Active players will profit more, upgrade faster and farm more walls. More gold is taken out of the economy, and overall loot suffers. Increasing the cap to 400k doesn't help unless enough people have 4,000,000 in storages (10% loot now), which I'd venture very few people do.

This helps overall game play - it becomes worth it to trophy push and use expensive armies. But without a level 12 collector upgrade and an increase in league bonuses, the farming landscape will only become more difficult for the casual players.

The way loot from storages will be calculated is:

-Take the percentage that can be looted from the storages of a given TH level (ex. 10% for TH10) and multiply it by the amount of loot in the storages.

-Look at the loot cap for the given TH level (ex. 400k for TH10).

-Compare those two numbers. The smaller of those two is what is available in a raid.

Also, the loot penalty still applies and must be taken into account when calculating both numbers.
Again..... Learning curve on Looting went from a 5 to a 100

But, i really want to see it in action and see if it fixes the shortage of good looting.

Yes you will be able to get 100k from one storage of a Th10. But you can currently get 90k from one storage on a Th7, which is much easier, and after the update that will climb to 112k per storage from a Th7. Of course that is only because you are a Th8, the Th9s and 10s will appreciate the amounts available from higher town halls much more.

Thank ypu for answering Overall, won't this destroy the casual players and mke playing a lot more unenjoyable? Wont it also lead to a lot of th outside walls to protect resources? This would make trophy pushing too easy…
