A comparison between the old and the new loot system: Influence on TH 7 - TH10

The way i see it this is the way wall street behaved before the crash, people were seeing opportunities that were false promises and buying on them, and when that could not be supported anymore the market collapsed

THE BIG PROBLEM IS:
that now all the gold generated comes from mines, collectors and the league bonus
All the extra loot that came from raiding higher THs is gone, and thats a lot of loot that the current mines and collectors cant generate
as time passes its going to be really obvious, because there will be almost none with loot to grab.
Its like been a salesman that gets paid a fix salary plus his sales commission and starting this patch the boss says, you are no longer going to get a commission, you may ask the costumer to pay more money for it, but you'll get no commission only the extra you can squeeze out of the customer (thats silly in normal life its the other way around the customer normally tries to get that extra form the sale)

Think about it, this is at every level, for example

A TH 6 raiding an inactive level 8 could get a lot of extra gold, that in turn could help a TH7 get more loot when attacking that previous TH6 and so forth, that made the economy roll and stay afloat

lets put this in to every day economics
everyone likes to get a bonus when they buy something, if you buy a tv and you get 50% of the price paid in coupons to buy more things you are really happy, because more "money" went back to your pocket, and you spender it on a a bluray and sound system. thats part of the old system

On the new system
yo get to work more and earn more money by putting more time in to the game, but that money comes from what your neighbor owns, and if your neighbor gets sick of that he may stop making money and you get screwed theres no more money buy the tv. The TV is going to cost the same, but you won't have the extra for the bluray and the spun system
and to make matters worse before yo had an insurance that no matter if you got robbed, all that could get robbed from you was 200,000 now when you are saving for that BIG Smart TV (in this case a big upgrade) you get robbed a lot more, and if you don't stay really active, you end up with no tv at all

Just what I tried to explain in my long post. They thing all the time at full storages that are minimum at mid range TH. No one made calculations on bases they are today. I would like SC to give average numbers of all TH lvls with how much they have in storages to deifieduandi and than make him make same calculations and show the reality.

Here is one thing that might compare it to what SC is doing now:

I have 1000 apples and if I sell ALL apples in 1 minute I will earn 1000 dollars. But the reality is that I can maybe sell only 1 apple and 999 is not the case. Maybe a bit extreme to compare it like this but I ope you get my point. Take REAL numbers and to the same calculations as deifieduandi!!

Thank you! I could do that calculation if I had these two conditions: 1) SC give me the data of current storage amount of each single base, thus the distribution of storage amount 2) SC pay me the labor fee for that calculation, thus knowledge converts to cash to support my clashing career.

I'm a pretty new TH 8, and my defenses thus far reflect that. I have been raided twice since the new system took effect. It's bull♥♥♥♥. Both raids were by TH 9s, both raids I had about 1.5 million gold and about 3.5 million elixir and in both raids they got 270k gold and 300k elixir. There is no way I can raid and save at a rate faster than these high level players are taking it. I wasn't even close to being maxed on gold so there is no reason for me to lose damn near the max available amount, especially to higher THs. You know it's a ♥♥♥♥ty, broken system when it makes more sense for me to upgrade my TH early to get a couple of xbows to help defend. I'll still be able to make a ton of money, apparently, from TH 8s. Or I can just dump my gold and retire for a bit. Both options are ridiculous.

I understand your point You are good with numbers and have a talent of showing people to see the numbers visually I hope for yor sake you get a jobb where you are happy doing what you are best at GL M8 and maybe, who knows, SC contacts you with an offer

You are mistaken.

There was no extra loot in the economy from the higher TH "bonus". That loot was lost by the higher TH.

The REAL loss of loot to the economy is going to come from all the additional fruitless "next" searches we all have to do. It removes a tonne of gold from the economy.

SC can't see this for some reason Or refuse to.....

You are mistaken.

Maybe they will give us a week of 1gem boosts during christmas week. That would put a ton of loot into the economy. The new loot system is awesome but with us making more we are spending more because we are getting it much faster, or I have anyways. I just hope that supercell doesn't wait too long for the stimulus package because i love this new loot system and would hate for them to change it thinking that the system is the problem
