    Siege machines are siege machines. They’re not max troops, they’re not max heroes, they’re not max spells. They’re siege machines. Although I’ve only got a level 1 workshop, I’m pretty sure level 2 doesn’t unlock bowlers.

    I’m happy to discuss anything - we can agree or disagree and that’s the point. But trying to convince people of your point of view by mentioning something irrelevant is faulty thinking at best.
    Nobody wants to shunt OP's idea/opinion. We (Or atleast I) posted my views on what I think of his idea.

    Siege machines are machines, no cheat code to 3 star TH10 without hardwork, Or as said by the OP "Handing the win". And you missed the comparison of bowlers again. At Th9, Bowler attacks are very powerful. The same can be said with SM.

    Nothing posted by me or someone else in this thread seemed to be irrelevant. You may have misinterpret it.

    The OP mentioned not permitting the SM in war.

    The same can be said about bowlers. Bowlers are powerful at Th9, SM at TH10.

    what do you think about if no siegemachines are allowed if you have no th 12 your clan. doesnt matter if the th 12 is in war or not. so if one clan has no th 12 than both clans are not allowed to use siegemachines.
    reason behind op idea is that he has no th 12 in his clan.

    back to comparison with other troops.
    th 6 war → no dark troops at th 6 available → gets maximum hogs donated → able to three star every th 6 with this hogs

    I read through the entire thread... To put it simply, and I mean no offence, the level of ignorance in the OP's idea is through the roof.

    As the quote above stated, that is LITERALLY what op's idea is. Using the hog example, if no one in your clan can donate max hogs, max hogs are banned from the war. It's not unfair. One clan has more resources than the other, and you have to DEAL WITH IT. Either recruit, upgrade TH, or deal with the consequences that the old-fashioned mindset brings.

    If this was implemented, (and this will eventually happen - you will get to th12) you would be instantly back on the forums complaining that you or your clanmate can't donate SMs, because the other clan has no th 12.

    My clan has 2 town hall 10s and a bunch of 9’s. We are all family or work together and we enjoy doing 5v5 clan wars.
    However we end up facing clans in the match up who have a 12 in their clan so they get siege machines. That tilts the balance out of control. In our last war they rolled over us only because of the siege machine. It’s pretty unfair. You already can’t donate defense troops if you’re not in war why not sieges?
    I get whenever I post this people tell me get a 12 in our clan but like I said we are friends and family clan and don’t want to have to recruit people just to have this thing.
    So in conclusion I’m just hoping you guys can change it so you can’t use siege machines in war if you don’t have someone in the war who can build them.

    Only war participants can donate to attacking war castles.

    This will fix a few problems. Siege engines in low level wars that don’t even contain TH12s. Overpowered top troops, like max valkyries and max babies in all low TH wars.

    And how will the game know if you are using troops for war or troops for multilayer?

    That would be a pain for small wars. Any clan that doesn’t have a th12 can easily make a new account and rush it to th12 for donations. Clans unwilling to do that might at times face a disadvantage.

    It means a moderate change. War attack troops will be donated in the war map, and only usable in war attacks. Only war participants can donate on the war map, just as with CC defence troops on preparation day.
