I busted out out loud laughing at Guy Fawkes! I’m an American and I don’t even understand I system that well. The most I know about the UK parliament is that it was created during the war of the Roses because when one of the kings died and his son became king he brought back his best friend from exile and wasn’t making the best decision for his country and people got fed up with him. Honestly I’m in love with British history.
Its my long held belief that politicians are among the least suitable people in society, to actually run a country. Anyone actually seeking to run for political office is probably just seeking to get their snout in the trough .... and should probably be automatically barred from office.

So there were two full moons on that memorable night?

Two soldiers were wearing hats with green bands instead of red. Are they instructors or recruits? What's the significance of the color green? Why did four sitting soldiers have swords and walking sticks?

I'm a bit a hazy on British history. Is this when Robin Hood and his band of merry men come in?

Two full moons indeed Lynn LOL. The photos were seriously funny!

The guys with green hats on were not Royal Army Medical Corps, they were recruits from a different small Corps who trained with us.
With the exception of the men on each end, the seated rank are all instructors - hence the motley collection of canes, pace sticks and a sword for the officer.

Parliament was created by Oliver Cromwell at the end of the English civil war around 1650
The War of the Roses was 200 years before that around 1450
The myth of Robin Hood is set during the reign of Richard I (the Lionheart) circa 1195
Medieval English history is super confusing, full of intrigue and rebellions

What supercell games do you play?

If you could be reincarnated as any animal that appears in Hay Day, what would you want to be?

Same question, but you could come back as any animal, what would you want to be?

Have you seen a raccoon running around you farm with a set of truck keys? Just asking for a friend?

What food item produced in the game sounds best to you?

    What food item sounds worst?

Can you put out some raccoon traps just in case that monster shows up?

If you had a choice of being able to fly but not control when you land or being invisible but not being able to control when you reappear, which would you choose?

Who wins a thumb wrestling match between ilovehayday and cowslips?

Do they have the 4th of July in Great Britain?

Does the Loch Ness Monster exist or are the Scots just crazy?

Hey, is that a UFO in the sky?

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you that you’re willing to admit to?

Thanks for stopping by with questions Mike

What supercell games do you play?

Just Hayday. I’m too scared that my world domination gene will kick in if I played Clash

If you could be reincarnated as any animal that appears in Hay Day, what would you want to be?

One of the pet dogs. Why do dogs lick their own ‘bits and pieces’? .... because they can

Same question, but you could come back as any animal, what would you want to be?

A wild boar. Grumpy, hard as nails and did you know pig species are reputed to have orgasms lasting 30 mins

Have you seen a raccoon running around you farm with a set of truck keys? Just asking for a friend?

    Yup, he went that way.

What food item produced in the game sounds best to you?

At this point I should say a salad of some sort - because my body is a temple. My body is indeed a temple, insomuch as it’s a crumbling ruin that’s probably haunted too! So I’ll take anything with bacon

    What food item sounds worst?

Um .... any of the salads

Can you put out some raccoon traps just in case that monster shows up?

    Done is there a reward?

If you had a choice of being able to fly but not control when you land or being invisible but not being able to control when you reappear, which would you choose?

LOL I like to live dangerously, but not that dangerously, so I’ll take the random invisibility and get a good lawyer.

Who wins a thumb wrestling match between ilovehayday and cowslips?

Ah the question that’s bothered man since the dawn of time .... cowslips looks favourite to me!

Do they have the 4th of July in Great Britain?

Indeed we do we call it July the 4th. For some strange reason we mutter about rowdy colonies, and gather round TV sets to watch Will Smith defeat alien invaders. It’s very odd!

Does the Loch Ness Monster exist or are the Scots just crazy?

It probably doesn’t exist, but the Scots are indeed utterly mad, so if it does exist, it’s sensibly hiding!

Hey, is that a UFO in the sky?

It must have been a UFO, because of the alien abduction. There were some missing days, I was left with a terrible headache, all my money had gone, and it was very painful to sit down for some days when I finally got home...... or maybe that was the rugby club tour?

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you that you’re willing to admit to?

I think I may have already covered that one in way too much detail!

As a Scot, I take great exception to any insinuation we might be crazy! And having been born close to the loch, I can say of course there is a monster!

Great questions, and terrific answers Steve-I’m enjoying your QMT!

    Ok Steve...here goes..

Who would you want to narrate the story of your life, and why that particular person?

Are you a planner or impulsisive/spontaneous?

    What songs make you nostalgic?

What “old person” things do you do that as a youngster you swore never to do?

Have you ever learned an important life lesson from a book you’ve read?

Do you believe that alien life exists?

    Ok Steve...here goes..

Haha thanks Pat, some cracking questions

Who would you want to narrate the story of your life, and why that particular person?

Without doubt only Samuel L Jackson could do it justice. Only he could use the term ‘motherf#*£3r’ sufficiently to do it justice .... I hope that doesn’t break any forum rules

Are you a planner or impulsisive/spontaneous?

Totally a planner (time spent on reconnaissance and planning is never wasted) but throw a few beers into the mix, or god forbid tequila, and a little impulsive behavior is certain.

    What songs make you nostalgic?

Way too many to mention them all, but here’s a few
Anything by Queen, Billy Joel or ELO
Dr Hook “If I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me” first song my wife and I ever danced to

    Tracy Chapman “Fast Car”
Elgars Enigma variation 9. Nimrod - played at the Cenotaph remembrance service every year. Amici Forever did a stunning vocal variation called ‘Lux Eterna’
    Glen Campbell “Galveston”

Bernsteins theme from the movie ‘The Great Escape’
Michael Kamens theme from ‘Band of Brothers’. Amici Forever’s vocal version ‘Requiem for a Soldier’ is just beautiful, a choir sang it at the Menin Gate when I attended the last post ceremony back in May. The tears flowed.

What “old person” things do you do that as a youngster you swore never to do?

When I become and old person I’ll let you know

Have you ever learned an important life lesson from a book you’ve read?

Indeed I have! Lord of the Rings, the battle between good and evil. If you have a magic ring to destroy in a volcano colocated the with the enemy’s fortress, make it easy on yourself. Instead of walking there and enduring countless terrible ordeals, just get a giant eagle to drop you off stealthily, incinerate the ring, hop back onto the eagle taxi, home in time for tea and medals
Wouldn’t have made a great film trilogy though

Do you believe that alien life exists?

When you look around now at some of the weird people you encounter in daily life, how can you not believe in alien life

Thanks Steve-I like your musical choices...and your sense of humour!

ETA: I think I have worked out that you are a little(not too much) younger than me, so appreciate you may not quite have “oldie”ways just yet.
