Nobody is going to think a maxed TH10 is easy-peasy just because collectors can go to level 16. But they might be a bit more motivated to try and climb that pinnacle. Imagine how cool it would be for TH10s to post their massive raids, with TH7s sitting there thinking, "man, I can't wait until TH10." Now it's a joke, with every big raid coming purely from the loot penalty plus TH7s attacking inactive TH10s.

My wife already quit after completely maxing TH7 and finding TH8 to be a grindfest. I'm approaching the fence as a new TH9 who completely maxed TH8 (including walls). The loot is worse, the army build times are longer, the army cost is higher, the upgrades take longer, and are more expensive. When you multiply all that together it's just too much! I don't know if I will ever go to TH10 at this rate unless Supercell removes its head from its butt and remembers the reason people give 5-star reviews to the game in the first place in the iTunes store. BECAUSE EARLY ON IT'S FUN!

I totally agree with this post. When you start this game you aspire to max your base out and cup hunt as far as you can go. If I knew that the goal posts kept on moving and the opportunity to achieve them kept on diminishing. I would have not even started this game.

The argument from Supercell saying they do not want to improve the economy is massively flawed. If Supercell does not improve things, a lot of the players that have been playing this game for 6-12 months will just stop playing. When the new updates comes out I would imagine this game's reviews will go down by disillusioned people leaving writing their views about this once great game.

Please bring back the fun I had when I first started this game. SC will be shooting themselves in their foot if they do not listen to longterm players.

Ruin the game, or your profit margins?

Sorry but I fail to see how more loot is a bad thing, no-one complained when mines/collectors were boosted for 1 gem. No-one.

The only element which I believe can unbalance the game is the storage capacity of mines/collectors. If it holds more, inactive accounts become more appealing. That is potentially harmful to the economy. But it can be easily resolved by simply not increasing the storage capacity of the new collector. ONLY increase the production rate and HP.

Also keep in mind that higher level upgrades should cost more and take more time and effort to achieve. That level 12 cannon isn't as much of an accomplishment if you didn't have to work hard to get it.
You serious? You really put the blinkers on there Steve, jesus.

I link a previous post of mine.

    http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...=1#post1113036

This considers the cost of gold required to upgrade all buildings costing gold NOT walls vs builder time using 5 builders.

    Hall 7 gold cost to max: $26,381,000 / 42.2 Days = $625,142 per day - $432,000 = $193,142 [69% via mines]
    Hall 8 gold cost to max: $95,109,050 / 80.2 Days = $1,185,898 per day - $432,000 = $753,898 [36% via mines]
    Hall 9 gold cost to max: $178,229,050 / 101.2 Days = $1,761,156 per day - $432,000 = $1,329,156 [24% via mines]

So lets say a lv 12 collector generated 3,600 per hour. That is 518,400 per day if not stolen. The mines would only cover 29% per day. Still lower then what it covered at TH7 & TH8. Neglecting to add collectors as higher levels only serves as additional punishment to those who upgrade. You can still maintain the scale of higher costs with better pumps supporting them.

    Seriously, take the blinkers off.
While I totally understand the frustration around not having enough loot I would say that we're going to look into other ways to relieve loot pressures rather than the quick and easy, but not too elegant and potentially game breaking addition of new collector levels at this time.
Since the loot bonus was reduced on the last update I can see there are some, albeit small and slow modifications been done on the issue. But more needs to be done, make no mistake about it.

The conditions at TH9 & TH10 are no-where near as enjoyable as they were at TH7. Loot is a massive reason for this.

Let's see if the next update will make any major difference to the LOOT and resources.

Guys, I don't think they have looked over this because the whole point of clash is to raid! Guys, there is also a fix in the loot penalty soon, and one of the Devs said on Cheif Pat's interview that NORMAL raids at higher town halls contain 0-400000 resources for raiding! That's why they aren't working on new collectors!

    Yes, i have heard.
But its more like LEFT pocket going to the RIGHT pocket

I talking of creating more resources - not shifting it, although that helps as well.

At first i was happy, see more loot after the update, over 300-500K Gold.
But that was a flash in the pan...

After few attacks, hardly any over 200K loot for TH 8,9,10. Worst update.....

So please, SC - you quick fix iS NOT WoRkInG!! Solve the resources issues - LEVEL them UP!!!
And i don't mean WALLS or DEFENSES....

If you Julezwatts can come up with a post like this then you are intellectually challenged
Firstly: Do not insult people or their abilities. If you cannot conduct yourself and your posts in a civil and kind manner then I will report you to Supercell.

Onto your post: Level 17 is a LONG way off. It makes very little sense to be proposing it now, when we're all the way down at levels eleven or twelve. Suggesting and giving stats for level 17 is sort of like trying to jump up an entire floor, instead of taking the stairs. It makes very little sense.

Alucard's suggestions were not appropriate at this point in the game, and would be much better voiced when the game is almost at those higher levels of collectors.

Also, by name calling me, you added very little to the substance of this thread.

    DE!!!

Great update it is not. You redo the loot system introduce another level to AT and the bombs. And spell now cost elixer (that is actually a good one) So there is more things to spend money on but we are still making the same amount of gold and elixer.

I totally agree with Level 12 mines/collectors and increasing the amount produced per hour.

Gold and Elixer= 4000 per hour
    DE 200 per hour

I would include a Level 12 upgrade with a higher hourly production rate or just increase for all the inactive players that have lvl 11 mines and collectors

Heres another way bring back or make it permanent the 1 gem cost to boost your mines and pumps for 24 hours not one person in my clan complained.

Im a TH 10 almost maxed out until this new upgrade. So now I am farming.

That's not to say that it won't happen or it is ruled out, just that there are no current plans to do so!

So we have Level 11 mines and pumps since TH8 and the prices of stuff always rises and yet the collectors don't. Absolutely ridiculous.
