Today I have this awesome strategy that uses hog riders to help you trophy push. This Hog Rider attack strategy also gets the gold and dark elixir. Overall, it's just really cheap. I was able to go from Masters League to Champions within two days.
If you guys are too lazy to read this, I have posted a video on YouTube where you click here to view it.
-2 archers
-10 Giants
-3 wall breakers
-6 wizards
-4 healers
-1 minion
-20 hog riders
-1 poison or freeze spell
-1 or 2 rage spells
-the rest heal spells usually I like to switch the free spell and the poison
Generally speaking, this army comp should be at least 220,000 elixirs and approximately 1,200 dark elixirs (without any troop discounts). Obviously, if you're a townhall 8 or maybe townhall 9 obviously, these might be cheaper due to lower army space but yet again, these are just the estimated benchmarks for this army.
Don't let the cost of this army intimidate you because the dark elixir or maybe elixir is a lot to you guys. Just remember if you win with this army and you keep trophy pushing, eventually the league bonuses will compensate for you. For example, I said that the army should be around 220,000 elixirs and 1,200 dark elixirs, but after my champion III league bonus I just need to find a base that is 20,000 elixirs and has or not have any dark elixir since my league wins bonus covers the entire army cost!
When searching for bases in multiplayer, it's always important that you find a base where the Archer Queen is either exposed or inactive. If the Archer Queen is literally exposed to the point where you can just drop down your barbarian king and destroy the Archer Queen make sure you do that it will help you in the long run. However, if the Archer Queen is maybe 1 or 2 layers inside of the wall make sure you chuck in your Giants your Barbarian King and Wizards to destroy that defender Archer Queen. In summary, ARCHER QUEEN MUST BE DEAD BEFORE HOGS ARE IN RANGE!
Use rage spells if necessary. I hope you guys understand that once you place your Giants and your wizards behind, you guys will have the decency of knowing when to place down the rage and what not. For instance, I use rage spells in a way to help my wall breakers dig deeper into the walls or maybe help the healers heal faster for troops like giants. There are definitely multiple uses for the rage spells but this is one main thing I use them to heal and to attack.
If the defender has some CC troops you MUST drop in the rage spell no matter what it is: balloons, electro dragon, e.tc. you must drop down that rage spell(s). Again, I typically drop them where it can actually rage the Wizards, Healers and the Archer Queen. Once you're confident that your giants, wizards, and heroes can take down the defender's Archer Queen and possibly clan castle troops in defense, Drop your hog riders. Typically, I like to drop my hogs in a way so that it's like facing single target things like archer towers or cannons. After deploying Hogs use heal spells accordingly. Before you know it defenses should wear down and you should be approaching the three star.
My advice:
-When deploying heal spells for hog riders place them in the direction where the hog riders are going to!
-If the Hogs are in the territory of any bomb towers or wizard towers make sure you are ready for that heal spell to drop
You didn't three stars because of:
-Time
-Place rage spells a bit early
-Put the heal spells directly on the hog riders
Don't get discouraged if you don't three stars on the first attack, just make sure you learn from the mistake(s) and watch that attack replay to see where you went wrong.
Anyway, that's all, for now, I will be posting some more pictures constantly and editing this paragraph cuz me sucks a grammar. Anyway, feel free to check out my YouTube Channel where I do daily Clash Of Clans let's plays and strategies similar to this.
I would suggest to have something like balloons or drag in your clan castle. Giant bombs and spring trap are great threat to hogs.
2 spring traps and all enemy cc hogs are gone.
Hope that helped.
