What‘s the point in blocking someone?

So today, I watered one single honey bush on my (now former) „friends“ farm (before derby). As a thank you, this person bought all of my items which were unadvertised. I really don‘t want to start the „raiding - there is no such thing as raiding“ discussion again. All my friends know, that I don‘t clear their shop and they shouldn’t do the same with mine.

I blocked this person. „ [Random farm user name] is removed from your friend‘s list and blocked for 30 days“ a pop-up told me. But although this person shouldn‘t be able to access my farm, this farmer keeps coming back. I know, it might be due to the last helpers tab, but why should someone be able to even come back to my farm when I already blocked this person? Isn‘t that the main function of blocking someone???

I know there‘s one other possibility but for the moment, I‘ll just wait the 2 days until I fall off from the last helpers tab. Until then, my rss stays empty or I‘ll advertise immediately. Sorry friends.

Even though the time one stays on the last helpers list has been shortened, this issue remains ongoing. (I'm sure your friends understand completely).

    Thank you, Tahoe

When I unfriend someone I usually don‘t block this person. This was the first time due to the watering I did earlier. I really don‘t understand why a blocked person still can access your farm through last helpers tab. This should be taken into consideration by SC.

It makes the blocking function non effective really, doesn’t it? They can still come back and clean you out as I discovered when I blocked someone before. It’s stopped me helping any random people in the paper because I attracted several stalkers this way, although I see this person was on your friend list which is a bit disappointing for you. At least it’s a limited time until they cannot get to you at all, and no need to apologise to the people on your friends list-I’m sure they’ll understand your reason.

Blocked should mean blocked immediately. I wholeheartedly agree!

I feel your pain Bender - you’re preaching to the choir. (A supportive choir)

Thanks! I thought I missed something but this issue clearly needs some tweaking.

Then what is the purpose of blocking?? Shouldn't it be that the person can't access your farm at all? This definitely needs fixing..

On another note, I can't believe how rude that person is to see you deleted them and still continue to access your farm via last helpers, you'd think they could take a hint
