😳Edit Mode - Labels

At the risk of exposing myself as one of perhaps three people that didn’t know this I’m going to ask:

Were you guys aware that we could label the layouts in Edit Mode? Because I JUST found out. I was actually on my way to request it over in Ideas when something (clearly the Guardian Angel Against Embarrassing Requests) told me to touch “Layout 1” to see what would happen. When the words disappeared and the cursor began to blink, you should have seen my face...it was set to “stun” I swear.

All those times I unsuccessfully guessed which layout I wanted to work on only to have to click through them all.

Anyway, sharing just in case, like me, someone out there doesn’t know.

I have 2 layouts for my town, “night” and “day” just because they are opposite each other.

i wish it were possible on the clash side of things (runs to check again...)

I always gave the labels a name in edit mode. But it was never helpful. ;-) because:
a)I gave a name.
b) Stored.
c) Again went into edit mode and it was again Layout 1, Layout 2 there. ;-)

I did this several times until I gave up :-)

Elfriede, that happened to me several times yesterday. What I realised is after “saving” the layout I had to wait on that screen - maybe 10 seconds or so - until the labels came back up. Whenever I didn’t - and I did it many times before catching on - the blank screen would come back with the generic labels.

Mine don’t stay labelled. They revert back to layout 1 and 2 either hours later and certainly by the next day.

I never knew this either! I barely use the edit mode :P
