perfect example, question asked, answered, thanks given, and then yet another post saying the same thing 4 hours later.

This is my favorite kind of thread! One that starts out with a legitimate issue, receives serious responses, and then veers off into the creative/humorous/ridiculous. I was thinking about this as I was reading all the posts (yes, I read them all) and happily the thread developed into exactly what I was going to post about!

Agreed. We do need more flags added to Clash of Clans.

Speaking of Sharks, has anyone ever seen the movie "Open Water"? (Sorry Delta, it was too tempting ).

Let's keep it on topic, please. What was the topic again? It's been so long and I didn't actually read the thread. I think it was about the number of obstacles that can be spawned or something like that.

Well I’m not going to read a whole 2 pages of replies just to work out what the thread is about, as I have a post count to spam.

Forumers should themselves understand when to add another reply to the thread.
But I am afraid it is not in our hands, to force someone not to reply.

Unless a moderator closes the thread when an appropriate answer has been posted, we can't help other forumers to stop replying.

If SuperCell moderators agree to give rights to the Original Poster to close the thread when he feels that he has received an appropriate answer to his question.

But many of the threads on this forum are general discussions, and about new features and idea, and not just QnAs.
On such topics everyone's opinions do matter. So giving rights of closing thread to original Poster, on such topics, would not be a good decision.

Its all on us, after all.
We all should read replies and then, if necessary, we should reply to add more details or explanation.

    Hope I helped.
    Thank you.
I agree but forumers should themseleves understand when to add another reply to the thread

The only thing I desire in life is for Lach to accept my friend request
