    You need the full link that contains the filename and extension, not that abbreviated link you posted above.

    I tried adding all the file extensions since I don't know what type of file it is but still I couldn't get it to work.
    As I suspected, common rookie mistake. That link is not to the image, but rather a Imgur viewing page which contains the image. We want the image url. So what I do:

    1) On that page, I select the image and with my browser select "Show Image"
    2) It then takes me to the url of the actual image itself ....

    Which when placed within the IMG wrappers, begets ....l
