well im not try to find the perfect sweet spot I am trying to discover the secret of match making.

Im not sure you can discover the secrets or understand their matchmaking.

For me Sunday is always terrible, I guess just too many players playing.
I know there are certain areas for good loot but you also need a bit of luck.
I know there used to be very good loot in areas but things have changed and this no longer exists.

As myself and plenty of others have said, there needs to be major changes to loot so fingers crossed that Supercell are reading the forum or the Mods are representing "the people" and forwarding to their attention.

Its a good idea, and if you're able to then please do it. I know a lot of people would like to see the data.

Maybe do it once or twice an hour for 100 next throughout the day. Ie: I'm guessing you'll see more i actives when America is asleep compared to when they are awake. It would be good to see this proven though.

i know i get my best bases, with least searches first thing in the morning, when US and UK are still asleep.

It would also be good to compare the same results straight after a maintenance break. So keep the data and also display when maintenance occurs. As we know from the forums and our own experiences it's harder to find loot.

Finally, do the same straight after a new update comes out, because chances are everyone comes back to the game to see whats changed and probably has a few raids too.

I think if you can get in a lot of data it would certainly make interesting reading, but the nature of the exercise by making the results public will result in the results becoming redundant because by informing people of the best way to play by taking advantage of the way other people play will result in things changing. Meaning your data will be out dated and irrelevant to the new state.

Long story short, the ever changing state of the game means this will be an interesting excise in statistics but not be of much more value than that.

i have to agree.
what you are getting as data is a snap shot in time.
the same exercise tomorrow will yield different results because there are too many variables to calculate definitively.
players trophy levels, mines/collectors producing loot, players spending loot on upgrades etc.


You could map this out in 50 trophy intervals, press next 100 times and record your results but this could take a long time! by the time you give the data out for TH8 you'll have to start the whole process again and it will either confirm your first data set (which i highly doubt) or it will be shifting constantly that would require you to do the whole procedure 5, 6 maybe more times to be in a position to guess with any certainty.

it will also tell everyone where the loot is then making the whole process useless and require doing again.

Its a good idea in that it would be interesting to see visuals on the amount of loot in ranges but as for the matchmaking theories it would derive, they would change the second you press next because of factors you cant control and thats other players fluctuations.

it take between 28 to 42 searches to find an inactive with lots of loot 200k+
in gold league 2

have found that to find an inactive base with 200k+ it take 8 to 13 next to find one at 1365 trophies
