Absolutely agree with this suggestion!! It would appease the OP claimers (most likely Th10s)

The main problem was making the WW available to low level town halls. The nerf should've come as a restriction to be available only to th12s.
I'm sure the old WW stats isn't OP for th12s as my mid th10 could sometimes handle it. Emphasis on sometimes because most of the times i got 3 starred by fellow th10s, which brings us to the first issue: restricting WW to th12.
when the update came out I was fully stocked in resources, books, potions, runes etc, you name it, I had it, I was so very ready to pull the trigger. And then finally it came, so I immediately upgraded my TH. Now the difference between me and a lot of others is, I didn’t use my books to finish the TH immediately, instead I painfully waited the 2 wks, partly because I was in a league clan that wasn’t entirely sure how the TH12 was going to be incorporated. So I watched, and twitched as I seen others gleefully pulling the trigger and throwing their gems and books at everything! Believe me, it took a lot for me to not use my books, but I wanted to save them for the bazillion other things that would need to be upgraded, because yes I knew I would have to endure yet another long boring grind of all the levels of defences and lab work yet again!. But still I waited and watched as the lvl3 siege machine was used, it was ferocious, cutting through bases like it should, glorious I thought to myself. But these were bases that were not yet fully developed and not designed properly to endure the new machines. The talk going on was absolutely fantastic, strategists trying to figure out how to incorporate this machine into battle, base builders scrambling to figure out the best ways to detour this machine! The game was alive again, at the beginning of summer, usually the slowest time for game play, wonderfully alive! Finally my TH finished and I slapped some real money down to get the upgrade pack! Where to begin I thought to myself? Well don’t put the workshop down just yet, it may add to much weight, so wait, what else do I have to do first I’m saying to myself? The cc of course, the lab absolutely! camps, have to do them too, but damn 9 million and 2 wks.... uggghh.... ok, do the traps, no weight and the new tesla too! so much to do I’m thinking, so little time, where do I use my books, my runes?!? oh my....... so much to do....... but I’m plugging along, thinking I will get there eventually.... damn, I’m thinking, I haven’t even started a troop upgrade yet, can’t afford it..... have to raid.... so much raiding to do.....
all of this has been going on steady since the update dropped, what a month ago? not even? and then BAMM out of the blue, SC decides that the machines require such a drastic nerf and ITs require a buff!? when the majority of people haven’t even hardly started their upgrades!! I haven’t even got one troop done yet!!!
You’re killin me guys......... how can the average player even properly discuss the game when we don’t even get a chance to hardly play with the new toys? I can’t even fathom how many gems it would’ve taken for someone to get to max 12 by now, but that’s what it would take in order to properly test the game out.
sorry guys, but this is a big fail in my opinion, you need to relax a little bit and let us common folk catch up some, you aren’t giving us time to even enjoy the game, and if you get the balancing where the defence is stupidly hard, a lot of us are going to quit you.

Supercell giveth, and then supercell taketh away... does seem awfully quick this time around tho. I haven’t even had time to upgrade the siege workshop yet, they usually wait until I’ve got something upgraded before they nerf it
My clan mate just used lvl3 WW in war and it should do 3500 dmg vs walls, but it took down lvl9 walls, which has 4000 hp, in one hit. Anyone care to explain?

As stated by many, think the nerf a little too hard to the WW, to the point of not cooking them or using them -regular CC drop for me (unless war attack).
