3 archer towers and an xbow targeted my wall wrecker when I tested it in a friendly challenge. He had to destroy two buildings (elixir storage, archer tower) before the first wall. Didn't survive long enough. I tried to use my king as a tank and then he was able to get the first wall. Enemy archer queen and a wiz tower killed him before he could destroy the second wall. A golem would have survived longer.

golem would have been 30 camp spaces and 8 more for 4 wallbreakers, and I bet it would have not made it past the first wall even with BK tanking.

Nope, and if they follow their past M.O., they will sell it back too us via new levels in upcoming updates.

post nerf SM is barely surviving gets take down so fast even though i m using 3 giants along with it for tanking. by the time it reaches 2nd wall SM is done. All the war hits has been vs Max TH11 no TH12 so far. Once ppl start upgrading the defenses at TH12 SM will be totally useless

Yes but remember that TH12 troops like the SM are now being balanced so as not to disrupt TH7 to TH10 play. The fact that the tools don't work at TH12... well that doesn't really matter since SC already sucked most of the gems out of folks who were going to jump on that bandwagon. As Mr. Mech observed below they'll just sell us new levels when they get back from summer vacation. (Along with making useful threads on the topic magically disappear).

Shhh. I'm still holding my breath that the Electro Dragon and Heroes don't get taken down... there are a lot of targets once you turn it into a witch hunt where anyone whose base has been 3 starred can scream for nerfs and be heard. (While I'm quietly building my defences because I think TH12 war will sink into the dark ages of two star attacks as defences get built lol).

I seriously hope not, but I wouldn't waste any gems upgrading them because it's pretty clear SC will radically nerf anything at anytime.
