Just wish some of the things like say, no Seige in stored armies menu, WW getting stuck, Blimp basically destroys nothing on it's way to TH, etc that could have been sorted before we start nerfing things that, SC has obviously sat on for like two years, supposedly play tested etc. It's really frustrating and I feel there is absolutely no way you can make a solid judgement call on a max level troops until it's faced many maxed defences in a test phase environment.

Eh, I have 2 accounts at th11. wasn't talking about attacks on my base. just haven't seen my clan mates using it in war or raids.

I agree with Colin, I had level 3 WW's before and after the nerf, and I'm seeing a substantial difference: the ww now gets through 1 or 2 layers of walls versus before where it would hit through 3 or 4 (unless it ran into a single target inferno sooner than that which meant good base design could have limited the WW's even without a nerf). NOTE: My notes are based on max TH11 or early TH12's... just wait until the TH12's out there get their defenses up to speed, then it'll be lucky to get through a single wall).
Purple, do you work for SuperCell or are you just a super-optimist? I like your attitude but honestly triggering the WW to pop is no big deal and losing the option of driving deeper into a base changes things a lot. Now the WW needs to be protected, maybe even used behind wall breakers to open a gap. What remains to be seen is whether this will be enough as bigger TH12 offenses get built. Cynically, what will likely happen is SC will just add new WW levels as needed so I can pay for the hitpoints that I'd already bought and that were arbitrarily confiscated from me.
Seriously I'm just peeved about spending two weeks racing to max my WW's and then, in one announcement having Darian magically delete all of that work. It was like all of the raids I did to collect that elixir, all of the lab time I spent and the builder's book I used were just gone. I have learned a lesson though: NEVER, NEVER buy gems to do upgrades no matter how exciting they seem. (DARIAN if you read this I would accept a credit for free future WW level upgrades when you introduce them as compensation for taking my resources - - and yes I would have spent my lab time, elixir and builders book on something else if I knew that a MASSIVE nerf was about to hit WWs).
It also ticks me off that the problem was created by SC deciding to make the game's most advanced weapon available at low TH levels, then nerfing it because it wrecked the "dynamic". Really how dumb is that? It would be like being able to donate a maximum AQ60 to a TH6 - - of course, that wouldn't work. So rather than fixing the problem they just killed an interesting new weapon for the TH12's who needed it. As I said earlier a true slap in the face to those who have supported the game the longest.

Typical supercell… They finally put something out new, get a bunch of people to gem it, and then nerf it in like a month. Either the Dev team are the most incompetent group of people who don’t know how to test their new content before release or they are greedy.

That makes sense Grimly, thanks for your honesty. Although sadly Darian used off-handed comments like yours as one of the two major justifications for NERFING THE LIFE out of WW's. (And the other justification was even more poorly thought out).

Really? I'm not seeing this, always gets through 1st wall, usually into second compartment too, I have to attack the top bases in war, so Im talking about mostly max wall here. I use a kill squad followed by air, and the WW is still getting the job done at max level, just as several others have pointed out too. I take no other tanks with kill squad, baby dragons, heroes, WW.
Stevil, I do not work for SC, just being honest about the reality of the nerf in game use. I agree, that the numbers seem huge, but in game play, it is making very little difference. We are in a pretty good war clan, and everyone is still doing great with the new WW stats.
When can we expect new achievements and increasing exp for donating siege machines ??
