I didn't say I thought they needed a nerf. I could just tell right away, that SC did not intend them to be that strong. Why did they have to wait for US to show them that, it was painfully obvious that they were very strong. Anyone using them knew they were way OP for TH10 for sure and maybe TH11, probably balanced or close to it for a max TH12.
How can you give a TH10 access to a level 3 SM and expect there to be some kind of balance?? It either has to be OP for a TH10 or under powered for a TH12. The defense levels are MUCH different, you can not give a TH10 access to something like that and expect it to work. TH10 should have been able to receive a level 1 only, TH11 a level 2 and TH12 a level 3. Taking power away from someone, even if it's warranted, upsets people. It would have been MUCH better to start with their stats lower and raise them, then come in with some OP stats and nerf them, but that wouldn't sell gems as quickly. At this point, definitely a cash grab, they have done it one too many times and they are smarter than that, they knew it was OP.
So how many maxed TH12 are out there? Most TH12s are still at a very early stage. Do you believe you have collected enough evidence that WW is OP to justify nerfing it? I cannot possibly see how!

Ahh stop with the whining.. The WW was obviously too strong, stop trying to lie to others and yourself. The nerf was needed, on what scale? It's still to be seen. Let's try it for a while, shall we?
If your ww melts against max defenses, drop some giants to tank, add some wbs for the first layer of walls, drop the ww a bit later on the attack, be creative...
If after a while we see a buff to the ww is needed it will get buffed.

I have read the chain and I'm pretty disappointed. I think it's a double hit and harsh. I think the tankiness should remain but the wall breaking reduction is suitable. It did seem odd that with 2 crunches level 11 and 12 walls were crushed. I think that alone would have been enough. As for the blimp like the rest if air it us just ineffective as a reliable high performing army. The targeting of the troop combo is too selective.
I'm not seeing any videos on YouTube for th12 using air. The loon spam is rubbish for war and only passable for hack farming on easy bases. Fix air still....it's been rubbish since th9.
I love the update. All these balance changes are good. But the wrecker hitpoint dump is a significant loss. And a small downer on the update.
btw getting a nerf was not the way to get more people to upgrade them.(until you make them higher lv)
why would i waste millions of elixir to get it to lv3 and pushing the training cost even higher to 150k gold each, for it to still be weaker than what i have now for 100k each?
i was gonna upgrade them once i finished my camps and troops but with how weak they are gonna be for how expensive they are i wont even bother touching them now unless you make it so they are not expensive(30k gold for a max seige).
and i just had full gold experimenting waiting on a builder and i found lv1 very lackluster only reaching the core on a dead rushed base and could not take out an eagle 2 layers in before being destroyed on a th11 now what i get in war will be even weaker than that.
did we take a huge nerf on bowlers(th10 troop) cause they are so powerful when a th8 took them in their cc

I've seen a lot of times on 12v12 attacks (not maxed on defenses) in our wars where a ww survived thru half the base or even all the way to the other side of the base so it was strong at th12 also.
You can say that those weren't max th12s.. Yes, but most players don't have a max th12 so it doesn't really affect gameplay. After a while when more players start maxing their defenses and we notice wws aren't going very well, they can still be buffed, it's not like once you nerf something it can't be buffed ever again.
Nerf and buff circles have been a thing in clash for as long as I can remember and it is something that helps the game in a way so I won't become boring and repetitive but always evolving.
