Maggie’s Discounted Prices

Ranger’s video said that we’d have to go to the Collection Book to get the discounted prices. My Maggie is incidentally showing a farmhouse style I had before and the 75% discount price is the same in her window as it is in the Collection Book. I don’t know if this is a glitch or if Ranger may not have been given the right information or if a change was made pre-rollout.

Basically, I’m not sure if the price I’m seeing is already discounted in both windows or if the discount isn’t working and it’s the original price in both windows.

If Maggie is offering you a part you previously had installed somewhere then she should offer it at the same 75% discount so the same price as in the collection book.
I don’t think it would be quite fair if she’d charge the full price again for a blue house if you had previously installed that blue house and can get it through the collection book for the discounted price.

Well luckily I don’t want the style so I won’t be testing it...just in case. 2 blue, 17 green vouchers. Vouchers are premium currency for me.

I don’t think it would be quite fair if she’d charge the full price again for a blue house if you had previously installed that blue house and can get it through the collection book for the discounted price.

A lot of us don't think it's fair we have to pay anything at *all* for parts we've previously purchased.

I look at the discounted update as an admission you guys got it wrong, but a refusal to do the right thing and make them swappable at no charge.

Please don't revert to the "reasoning" I've seen on here before - that there is a "cost" to Maggie's services. She's a freaking pixel!

Plus, if you want to use RL logic, we don't typically trade our roofs in every week, and if I use my broom to do the floor and then switch to my mop, I don't have to repurchase my broom to use it again.

It's super, super greedy, and the *right* thing to have done would have been to make previously purchased items available to use again at *no* cost.

This is rewritten from my post in the Sneak Peek #2. So I bought the purple with flames cabin for 35 diamonds and the simple gold wheels for 1 yellow and 15 green vouchers. Both are in the style features. The conversion I saw in the collection book is the purple with flames cabin is 87500 coins 75% off. So conversion for diamond to coin is 1 diamond = 10000 coins. The simple gold wheels' 75% off is 1 yellow voucher and 3 green vouchers

Thanks, Gazzanga. I was wondering what the conversion was but hadn’t made a note of my previous purchases (which also helps to explain my uncertainty regarding my 75% off offer). This was really helpful.

That was no normal way of questioning it. It was an accusatory post all the way through and quite frankly not the first time I’ve read something put like that either.

Theyre also accusing the wrong person because I have no say in the matter whatsoever and if they’d just asked my opinion they might have actually gotten my take on the whole thing. Has it ever occurred to anyone that my opinion might actually also have some criticism ?

No, it sure as heck doesn’t look like it. Instead I get a bunch of accusations thrown at me for stuff I canNOT influence and on top of that I’m told what I canNOT say as a reply.
Maybe just maybe if asked nicely and normally what my opinion is on the matter you might be in for a surprise instead of the accusations and assumptions what my answers will be.

So yes if you back a Kat into a corner like that they might jump a little.
