Proposal to Make 1 Gem “Donate Now” a Permanent Option

We had clanmates who never donate start donating. This is a wonderful idea for clans, leaders, and supercell?

They could add it to clan perks maybe, each level unlocking a new troop for 1 gem or reducing the gem cost by half every five levels or something.

I spent a lot more gems during these 1 gem events than any other time

Only used gem donations once, accidentally. During the event used it all the time. Would buy gems for that convenience...

Most welcomed for it to be a permanent feature, especially for donating siege machines. The time it takes to build, the cost, plus you can only build 2, impedes the donation efficiency. I don't see it happening though.

I’m not sure about anyone else, but prior to the current 1 gem event I never used the donate now feature. It was simply not worth it to waste the gems that I have bought/earned just to donate high level troops to some schmuck that can’t use them correctly anyhow.

However at a cost of only 1 gem, I figured what the heck. As the week+ rolled along, I realized that my gem count was down about 300 gems. It is this type of micro transaction that keeps SC rolling along. I would say that about 50 of those gems were earned and 250 were purchased. It may not seem like much but SC just made $2.50 off of me that they normally would not have.

When extrapolated over 100 million users, that is a HUGE sum of money to make in 2 weeks.

Did anyone else use this feature as much as me or am I just a sucker?

Well, any discounts in the shopping malls will generate them some income/money. But that doesn't mean they should give discounts all the time. Some people will always choose to wait for the discounts, and if the discounts is common thing, they will wait for better discounts before purchasing anything.

Hahaha, I spent about 2k gems during that event on donations. 0 gems on donations since it ended.
